  We loved this home, it was spacious, spotless, beautifully decorated and well stocked, we wanted for nothing. The location is awesome very close to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub very much and that the home backs onto a lake is an extra bonus.The owners were fantastic, we arrived to home made cookies and ice cold iced tea in the fridge. They took the time to give us a tour of the property and provided us with a restuarant and shopping guide. We are a famiy of five with 3 teenagers and we had ample room.They were extremely organized and professional and we would rent this home again without hesitation.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Owner response: Our visitors from the far north were wonderful people to work with and host. They seemd to be on the go all the time, which taught us that it is possible to keep 3 teens occupied in the desert! Telling us of their activities made our heads spin. Again we were so sorry to see them return to the colder climes, especially when we were later informed that this desert-tanned family returned to a snow flurry - in late April. How spoiled we are! Our northern neighbors will always be welcome at our home in Lake La Quinta.

  We had a fantastic four week stay in this lovely home with our adult children and young grandchildren in March. We have rented vacation condos and homes many times and have to say that these owners truly stand out for their exceptional hospitality. They were wonderful to work with and had every detail laid out for us including a special welcome when we arrived. We loved the location on the lake and the beautiful view -- especially those sunrises. The house itself is very nicely decorated, well equipped and comfortable. We spent a lot of time enjoying the inviting pool and patio area, which is very private and provides the perfect setting for relaxing or for activities. Lake La Quinta is extremely close to everything. It literally only takes a few minutes to get to good grocery stores, restaurants, art fairs, tennis tournaments, golf and more. Our grandchildren managed a visit to the close-by self-serve yogurt shop almost every day! The quiet Lake La Quinta neighborhood is pretty and we enjoyed just walking or running within the area, taking in the lake and mountain views. Having easy and close access to the private park and tennis court is another big plus. What can we say -- we want to go back! Hopefully next year!

  Owner response: Our Minnesota guests were an absolute dream to host. There was not one issue, glitch or concern over the entire month they had the home. In fact, the house was left in beautiful condition. We had to insist to the cleaning crew they needed to go through it! Our guests looked so much healthier and happier on their departure than when they arrived, testiment to the rejuvenating desert climate. We felt so sorry that they had to return to the land of flurries and cold. For sure we would host these wonderful people next year or anytime they wish.
