Everything about this vacation was easy and relaxing! From booking it, to enjoying it, it was fabulous! The owners take great care of the house and the pictures do not do this house justice! We wanted an actual vacation of rest and relaxtion; no hustle and no bustle. We got exactly what we wanted. The location is very remote as some others have noted, but with that came total peace and quiet. Our little family of four enjoyed a wonderful week at the house and completley utilzed being on the water. We spend most weekends at KY Lake and therefore love this location. The house sits on a gated pennisula that has only two other houses in it! The back of the house sits on a fishing cove which attracts alot of fisherman, and the water can be a little rocky at the dock. Because of this we didn't leave our boat docked here, rather we launched everytime at the boat ramp right on the other side of the pennisula. The house is about 10-15 mintue boat ride from some great coves perfect for wakeboarding and tubing, smooth as glass. We chose this relaxing vacation prior to our umptenth deployment. Many of our friends couldn't understand why we would spend this kind of money to "sit" in a house. Several of our friends came down for the day and instantly saw why we chose this house. Feet from the water, we had more time on the lake with no standing in long lines at an overpriced amusement park; when you get hot, jump in the lake. When the kids get tired and cranky, they could each go to their own rooms and relax. Plenty of space and loads of upgrades made this house perfect. Best part was not needing a vacation from our vacation. Overall, good location, great house. Plenty of fun and sun!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful, secluded lake house. The pictures don't do it justice, new construction, right on the water with private dock and large deck overlooking. 3 bed, 2.5 bath with tons of room. Was a perfect getaway for my family and a few friends. I'm hoping to stay again later this fall and will definitely return next summer.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This house what a great getaway from the city. The house is in wonderful condition and I had no complaints. We were able to rent a pontoon boat directly across the cove from the house. Had a great time and will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

This was the perfect place to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The house and lake were everything we needed it to be, comfortable, relaxing, and affordable. It was nice to be able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sunset both across the water. We definitely recommend staying here and look forward to our next stay. Thank You for sharing your home with us. God Bless You and Your Family!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is such a lovely place, the pictures truly do not do it justice. The home is very well equipped with probably more amenities than you would expect. (Chefs might want to bring a few favorite things if you plan to do much cooking.) The house is very comfortable and welcoming, and the view is simply awe-inspiring. The kids were happy with the tv's and game room, and the fishermen had great luck at the dock. The rest of us were absolutely content to sit on the deck and watch life on the lake. By the end of our first day, we were talking about when we could get back to this beautiful place. We appreciate so much the kindness and cooperation of the owners; more than just a "rental house", we truly felt that we were at "home".Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is a really special place. The house itself is excellent - fantastic design that makes you feel like you're floating on the water but also very comfortable. The location is terrific if you are looking for peace and quiet. Deck is great, the house is well equipped and the owners are very helpful and easy to work with. Thoroughly recommend. We were a family of 5 with kids aged 3, 7 and 10 and they all loved it too. It's pretty isolated, but in a good way.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.

WOW! A great value in our book. The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful house on KY lake. The home is beautiful and spacious and well equiped. Water views on three sides. The upstairs game room with large screen TV was great for our adult kids to play the Wi games they brought and we had a wonderful holiday get together with family from LA, FL and TN. We saw Elk and Bison at the Land Between the Lakes recreation area north of here and fished off the beautiful dock. The location is out of the way and not in or near a city but we found groceries in Erin and TN Ridge a short drive away. Also found they have great food and retail beer at the bait shop across the way. We would definitely return, maybe in the summer with a boat!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is a great getaway and the house is as nice as it looks in the pictures. We had two families- 4 adults and 3 children total and had plenty of living space. A great view of the lake from the deck and we caught a bunch of smaller fish off the pier. The area did not have a lot of traffic on the lake and we rented a pontoon from someone in the area. The kids also loved the bumper pool in the loft. We'll be back! thanksRecommended for: Families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks Kurt! We are very glad you enjoyed the stay. Cynthia Mitchell

We spent a long weekend at this property and was VERY impressed. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures can show. Everything in the house is top quality - more than you could ask for especially when renting a vacation home. We drove to Paris Landing State Park to swim which was only a short 30 min. drive away.We grilled on the deck and spent the evenings out on the deck enjoying the full moon shining on the lake. We loved the house, the privacy, the location. The owners were very easy to work with and communicated regularily. We'd love to move in! We definitely will come back again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Collette - I know this review has been out there for a bit, but I wanted to take a minute and say thank you for your kind review. We are very happy you enjoyed the property and your stay! Please let us know if we can help you in the future. Thanks again, Cynthia Mitchell
