Nestled in beautiful Emerald Estates Whistler, Pinetree Chalet is a private home, perfect for entertaining, bonding and relaxing.
Pinetree Chalet will accomodate 6 to 15+ singles, 4 couples, or 3 families in beds. Additional mats allows for sleeping up to 21 people. The location provides a peaceful retreat while being minutes from the action of Whistler Village, ski slopes, golf and the area's vast selection of seasonal activities. Green Lake is a short walk from the chalet that offers boating and water sports in the warmer seasons, and skating, snoeshowing and cross-country skiing when frozen.

Extensive use of wood, stone, massive beams, slate, granite, wrought iron, leather and lodge quilts add to the woodsy Whistler decor. In an open-plan entertainment space the fully-equipped chef's kitchen has a bar-style island for helpers, onlookers or additional dining space. Together with the dining area this makes a welcoming group gathering spot. This area overlooks and connects to a sunken living room that adds to the flow of entertainment and conversation space.
Four bedrooms consist of: 2 huge and 'flexible' master suites that can go from a romantic couples' suite with separate seating areas to multi-sleeping rooms for 8-9 people in each room. Two small bedrooms, each with a queen bed, are on the main floor. Three bathrooms, sauna, steam shower, laundry facilities are provided for your comfort and enjoyment.
Private off-street parking is available for 3-5 vehicles (depending on snow), foyer with hanging storage for 17 pairs of skis along with heated boot storage for toasty toes. The large, gently sloping lot has gardens, lawn and fire pit in the summer. For more information see our website.

We had 9 adults and 7 children (all ages 4 and under) staying here. The place was great for all of us. The website is excellent in providing all the information. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner, Virgiinia, is excellent and very helpful. She responds to your emails really quick and tries to do everything she can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The parking area can fit up to 4 cars which was perfect for us. This place is close to Whistler (about 10 minutes drive). The 2 master bedrooms are huge and spacious. The living room can well accommdate 12 people comfortably. It was a nice cozy living room for friends to gather around and talk. I would definitely come back here again!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Pinetree Chalet Whistler is a very cozy retreat spot. It was really fun cooking. Read the description on the site, it's exactly how it is...two big bedrooms with some sleeping on beds - plus extra floor mattresses and two other smaller bedrooms for two... the most interesting part that I have yet to try: a sauna and stand-up shower with lights and music. What I like the most about the place: the open kitchen and living room which became the hangout spot for everyone-- lots of interaction and conversation.... Virginia, about 20 of us slept here every night. We cooked exactly 8 meals in your kitchen, eating breakfast and dinner together family style. How nice to have friends surrounding you to ring in the new year. Some of us had been to Whistler before, some of us had never even crossed the Canadian border! You have a house in some beautiful part of the country. A few of our favorite things about Pinetree Chalet: - the sauna - the steam shower with radio! - automatic fireplace - Cassandra. freaking out because she had never heard a trash compactor before - the sauna Thanks for all the extra blankets and other accommodations. About the owner: We purchased the chalet as an activity-filled place for our family to take vacations & entertain, and also make available to church groups, extended family retreats and rentals.
Why the Owner Chose Emerald Estates:
We love Emerald Estates! It is a beautiful 6-minute drive from the action of Whistler Village and yet it's so peaceful - it's the best of both worlds. As we drive along and see scenic Green Lake on the right we just give a big sigh and life's problems just seem to melt away.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet:
The layout of the rooms and furniture allow for so much flexibility:
-The two large master suites can easily accomodate a family - even large families. A 3rd family of up to 4 can use the 2 queen-sized bedrooms.
-It's great for 4 couples - large beds and private room for each couple - huge suites for the lucky ones in the master bedrooms with reading corner and seating area.
-We've hosted youth retreats with boys & girls large rooms... convert the daybeds to twin beds & pull out the mats to maximize accomodation while the leaders have their own private rooms for a total of 21 people (this configuration not necessarily recommended for adults).
-An adult retreat with 11 separate beds - mats available for additional sleeping, if needed. With 2 people in each large bed (king or queens) the house will sleep 15 guests in beds.
-The dining area has benches for flexible seating, plus additional seating at the kitchen island.
-Living room has lots of leather seating. Benches allow for additional space when needed.
-The house is within walking distance to beautiful Green Lake (also the only lake in Whistler that allows motor watercraft). There is a private park with play area nearby, and a beautiful 20-minute 'loop walk' with interesting houses. Other little-known walks in the area.
