Polo Beach Club condo description
Polo #406 is a beautiful, comfortable unit overlooking the ocean. It offers breathtaking views of Molokini, West Maui, Kahoolawe, and Lanai. The unobstructed sunsets are absolutely stunning!
While staying at the Polo Beach Club, guests are steps away from a private, gated beach and access to the Wailea Beachwalk, a popular walking path that winds along the ocean to the Shops at Wailea and beyond. Whether your walk takes you north along 'everyone's favorite' Wailea Beachwalk or south through the neighborhood of incredible $17,000,000 (and up) gated estates, you will never be bored by the endless beauty of God's creation.
Throughout your stay, you can take embrace as much activity (or non-activity) as you need. Right on Polo Beach are some small tide pools, great waves for boogie-boarding or body-surfing, and even some small crabs for the kids to terrorize. A little deeper in the water, you'll find some great snorkeling or diving - right outside Polo Beach Club. Just above the beach, relax by the pool and then enjoy the hot tub overlooking the ocean.
A mere five minutes up the hill from Polo Beach Club, the Blue and Gold Wailea Golf Courses offer fine golf with some beautiful vistas.
Shopping at the Wailea Shops (just North of Grand Wailea Resort) is fun and includes a nice variety of shops and restaurants. If you'd rather dine in #406, prepare your meal to the sound of the surf and enjoy it while watching another spectacular sunset.
After your day's activities allow the sound of the ocean-surf, softly embracing the shore, to lull you to sleep every night.
Hawaii is a love of our family's life. We lived 3 years on Oahu while serving in the Navy. We then returned to Oahu as civilians. Having come to Maui for years attending the Hawaii Eye Medical Meeting, we enjoyed many, many walks to the south end of the Wailea Beachwalk. We would turn back at Polo Beach Club to return to our accommodations at the Grand Wailea. It was in 2003 that we decided 'for fun' to see if any oceanfront condo was available for sale. After amazing events and timing, we were blessed with Polo #406.
Through Polo, we have met many wonderful people who have become friends along the way, including Polo personnel and guests.
Every time we return to Maui, the minute we walk into the entrance of the condo, our concerns of the day are replaced with serenity and peace.
It is our desire that our condo, Polo Beach Club #406, will offer you serenity, peace, and rest as you are caressed by the gentle Maui tradewinds.

Incredible View and a Lovely Condo..................
Incredible View and a Lovely Condo..................
The view is just as beautiful, if not more impressive, than the photo. The condo itself is lovely, as is the Polo Club and beach. We watched turtles swim from the lanai! Everything was nicely provided for our comfort. The murphy bed is VERY comfortable as well as the bed in the master bedroom. There were some glitches with the air conditioning which were problematic and uncomfortable; however the owner was extremely helpful and responsive to the situation. Additionally the staff at the Polo Club and the owner's maintenance person were very helpful in resolving the problem. Very quiet, which I like. Would love to stay again!

Polo Beach Stay
Polo Beach Stay
The property was every bit as beautiful as the pictures indicated! Our family had a wonderful vacation there and we would most definately recommend staying at Polo Beach especially #406. The property is literally on the beach. Our condo was on the 4th floor facing the ocean. The views were magnificent, especially the sunsets. The beach wasn't crowded and the snorkeling was really good. The owner was great to work with and very helpful. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Tasteful relaxing oasis
Tasteful relaxing oasis
We enjoyed one very memorable week in unit 406 in March. The clean quiet unit is nicely appointed with great amenities provided by kind responsive owners. And the location makes it so spectacular! Because it is located at the front of the building, the panoramic views of the ocean and the islands are unobstructed and mesmerizing (especially in the glow of the great sunsets directly in front of the unit). And we saw so many whales going by from the very spacious lanai! We were invigorated by our twice daily walks along the adjoining scenic path and lulled to sleep by the soothing sound of the waves. We would eat breakfasts and lunches at the unit, but eat out for dinners at one of the excellent restaurants at nearby top end resorts. We played tennis at the Wailea tennis club which had excellent courts and golfed at the very enjoyable Gold course. For a special day, we drove up to Kapalua and played on the Plantation course, rounding out our day eating dinner at the fabulous Pineapple Grill at the Bay course. We have previously stayed in the Kaanapali area and preferred the Wailea area as it is far less busy and more tasteful. Oh what a holiday!

My family returned from our vacation in Maui 2 weeks ago and we are all still basking in the glow. First of all, the condo itself is perfection. Everything was clean and ready for us. The location could not be better. You are in the very front of the building, so there is an unobstructed view of the water. I sat on the Lanai reading sometimes and watched the kids riding the waves. The view and the sunsets are beyond description. The kitchen is upgraded with gorgeous granite and great appliances. The master bath is huge with 2 showerheads. Because this unit is in the front, it is bigger and we had ample room to play our board games and just enjoy being together. So relaxing, so beautiful. Family time together on vacation in this setting is so treasured. If you like to eat out, there are of course many wonderful restaurants in the Wailea area. Our family prefers to stay in and eat. The outdoor grill area is gorgeous. The beautiful foliage surrounding you makes grilling a pleasure. You can see and hear the ocean while standing there. The condo has all the equipment you would need to prepare delicious meals. We stopped at Costco on the way in, and loaded up on everything from hotdogs to ahi. Kris also followed up with us to make sure everything was going well. This is a family that makes you feel welcome. Kris, thanks again to you and your family. We had a memorable vacation, and we hope to be back again someday.

My wife and I and three older children spent a week at this property in late March. As this was our first trip to Maui, I spent hours looking for properties that we might enjoy. Polo Beach Club always stood out because of its location and when this unit became available we were quick to take it. The owners were very cordial and helpful in helping make our visit as pleasant as possible. The unit itself was top of the line. We loved the ocean view corner unit and the kids loved the sand and surf. Everything was very clean and well cared for and it didn't have the wear and tear of some rental units. Top of the line appliances, washer/dryer, gorgeous master shower, etc. helped make our trip very enjoyable. The sound of the surf at night from the master bedroom made for a soothing sleep. These front units of Polo Beach are the best on the property. It was windy for the first few days but was better the last half of our stay. Could have used boogey boards, but there were beach chairs for our use. Now we are back to the real world but will always have fond memories of our wonderful stay.

About the owner: Previous Hawaiian residents that, after moving to the mainland, couldn't escape the call of Hawaii. We have two grown children and a grandchild that adore this unit and have fallen in love with Polo Beach. Many fabulous family memories have been made here.
Why the Owner Chose Polo Beach Club:
We had come to Maui for years and loved staying at the Grand Wailea. Seeing Polo Beach Club everyday on our walk, we always wondered about the availability of a prime oceanfront unit on the north side of this complex. We asked and were blessed to discover that #406 had just been marketed for sale. As the previous owner told us, this unit is in the perfect location. High enough to be private but low enough to sit on the lanai and watch grandkids at play. Without having to strain your neck, the ocean lies well within view. We chose this part of the island for the solitude it offers compared to the busyness of the west side of Maui. The meadows of Haleakala and the beauty of the clouds shrouding its peak are breathtaking. While offering fine dining, empty beaches, great snorkeling, and lots of shopping, it is removed from the crowded streets of Lahaina and Kaanapali.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The walk along the Wailea Beachwalk every morning is a great way to start the day. In the evening, open the sliding doors and allow the Hawaiian tradewinds and ocean sounds to fill the condo. There is nothing like being lulled to sleep to the song of the constant surf lapping the beach, which sits a mere stone's throw from the breezy tradewinds-kissed-lanai off of the master suite.
