THE HOUSE The Casa Inspiración is set in one of the most exotic spots on the Mexican Pacific, just a few kilometers from Puerto Escondido, in the State of Oaxaca. It comprises an exclusive and distinctive getaway combining contemporary architecture, local traditions and meticulous attention to detail to create a tropical oasis that offers a unique experience. The Casa Inspiración is distinguished by its mixture of subtlety with austerity and theatricality, striking a perfect balance between the abundant vegetation, awesome panoramic views of the Pacific and tiny details of its architecture. The arrangement of the bungalows allows all of them to benefit from an individual private terrace overlooking the sea, while all the interior design is a permanent evocation of various traditional cultures from all over the world.
ENTRANCE A centuries-old parota tree, typical of the region, marks the entrance to the house from the road. After passing through groves of ají peppers, papayas and coconuts the visitor finally reaches the Casa Inspiración via a platform made of river stones, an oasis of palm trees or a patio of sea orchids sprinkled by delicate trickles of water.
PALAPA The palapa is probably one of the architectural features most strongly identified with the Pacific Basin. This element derived from Malaysia – where “palapa” means “pulpy leaf” – has adapted very well to the Mexican climate and proved very similar to the ancestral structures of western Mexico.
SWIMMING POOL The pool in the Casa Inspiración, bordered by loose river stone, is an elegant composition embracing the horizon over the sea, the nearby sand, the lush vegetation, the wooden pergolas and the various chill-out areas around the pool.
BUNGALOWS Parota wood, coconut fiber, cotton, onyx and natural stone are the distinguishing traits of the five bungalows. All of them boast a panoramic view of the ocean, a private terrace, an indoor and outdoor chill-out area, two double beds and an interior patio that gives total privacy to the bathroom.
SPA The spa is set in an independent palapa, in the midst of the tropical garden to the rear of the house, open to views of the Sierra.
CHILL-OUT Chill-out is a recurring theme throughout the house, offering a permanent invitation to relax in a number of different places. Each area has its own personality, whether hanging, above water, under pergolas or palapas, with panoramic views, indoors or outdoors.
TV ROOM The lounge-library, completely fitted out as a home cinema with air-conditioning and large chill-out couches, enjoys intimate views of the interior gardens.

Casa Inspiración is situated in the far south of Mexico, in the state of Oaxaca, with an exceptional orientation with respect to the Pacific Ocean that provides a unique experience at every sunrise and sunset. It is just a few minutes from the center of Puerto Escondido, a small fishing town now considered one of the world’s surfer paradises, and also only a few kilometers from Huatulco. The Casa Inspiración is set in the midst of a landscape of natural lagoons, sand dunes and palm groves, bounded by an immense beach and backed by the Sierra in the distance.
