Local attractions include Cocoa Beach Pier and Boardwalk, Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center, Ron Jons Surf Shop, ocean fishing, casino ships, and 15 golf courses in a 30 mile range. The Canaveral National Seashore, 25-mile long barrier island along the Space Coast is only minutes away. This national park service protected reserve has many colorful and exotic birds like Florida's famous roseate spoonbill.
