Our family gathered (10 adults, 4 children 4 and under) to celebrate our Grandma's birthday and this was the perfect place! There was enough room inside and out for everybody to spread out. Our gracious host had some welcoming snacks out for us and also provided a few staples. She was very accomodating....she managed to get us a needed wheelchair and we are very grateful for that. The huge yard was great ...... the kids had plenty of space to run and explore...yet far enough from the road that we didn't have to worry. We saw many deer.....unfortunately they were eating some of the beautiful gardens. Great house, great views (especially the sunrise) and great time!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

Upon arrival, Terri greeted us with a delicious fruit/cheese tray!! We then had a tour of the whole house. She also left milk, eggs and bread in the fridge for us!!! The house is beautiful with wonderful views of Canandaigua Lake. Plenty of bedrooms and comfortable beds Everything you would need is in the kitchen. We did a wine tour with a limo and it was a lot of fun. Terri recommended a restaurant, Schooners, and it was delicious. We had a great time and looking for another celebration to take us back!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Everything about the villa was beautiful. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. Along with 4 other families, we enjoyed our weekend at this spacious, open-concept cottage along with all its features in true Canandaigua fashion. It was a truly relaxing weekend for everyone with plenty to do. The dock was well used by fishers and sun-bathers (make sure to go out at night to see the mudpuppies and blue lobsters!) and the patio had us lounging at all times of the day. We took a trip on the steamboat that featured the Finger Lakes and their history. Our hosts were terrific, very warm and made sure that we felt welcome in their villa. The worst part was having to leave! Thank you for your hospitality, we will return as soon as possible!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We were a group of 5 families who visited the Secluded Sunrise on May 2011. The hosts were extremely nice and accomodating, ready to help with any issues. They gave us advices regarding the places worth of visiting. The property is amazing, everything you could dream of a vacation home. The bedrooms are big, with nice furniture, there was a lot of space for everybody. The truth is we did not even have a chance to enjoy some areas, as there was lot to do and see. We would definitely come back. Fall and/or winter seasons should be breathtaking. Thank you very much for your hospitality!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
