My husband and I stayed at this wonderful house in Long Beach for a week. Rosanna was very accommodating to our schedule. It was even nicer than the pictures! All was very clean upon our arrival and the house is very well stocked with essentials. Our 2 little dogs really enjoyed the huge, fenced back yard! The neighborhood is very quiet, and yet you are only a block and a half from the beach, All the furniture was very comfortable. It was great having WiFi, as we are self-employed, so we need to check our email often. We enjoyed great restaurants nearby, and it was close to our friends' house, who we were visiting and playing golf with. I cannot think of anything I would even suggest to make the house any more perfect than it was! You'll love sitting on the lovely outdoor furniture Rosanna has provided on the huge front porch, catching the ocean breeze while reading. Honestly, this is a real gem and so close to everything! If you are coming to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, you should stay here! You won't regret it! There is also a spacious den with a pool table and ping pong table, so even though it was just my husband and I, I would recommend it for families with kids, too. Rosanna has also provided lots of board games and each bedroom has a TV. You will love the pool, too! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us, Rosanna! We would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful memorable trip to Long Beach,MS! My 2 grown daughters,2 cats,and myself really enjoyed staying at Rosanna's home for 4 nights! Speaking of Rosanna(the property's owner), we spoke several times via phone and she was most helpful with on all my questions etc. This was our first time to ever rent a home for vacation.and will surely come back again. The home was clean and well maintained and true to the photos on the VRBO website. There was such a comfortable feeling with entire layout of the house. We had such fun with endless laughs as we competed playing ping pong in the recreation room. The beach was close by as well as great restuarants like Salute in Gulfport and Harbor View Cafe in Long Beach. We also visited Ship Island for the first time. The 11 mile boat ride to and from the island was wonderful as well as the beautiful ,peaceful beach upon arriving. With so many things to do, we wished we had booked this home for longer. We didn't want to come home! hehe I will recommend this property to a friend and relative. Thanks again Rosanna for letting us enjoy and stay at your beautiful home.

Wow! What a wonderful home! We so enjoyed our stay and the location. It is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed our morning walks watching the sun rise. The beach is so clean and the sand so white with wonderful restuarants close by such as The Cajun Crawfish Hut, Steve's Marina Restaurant and Darwells Restaurant. This was the first year we considered renting a home while in the area. We have two other contracts with local homeowners that fell through due to difficult homeowers, but Rosanna was wonderful to work with and straight forward to deal with. This was a far better option than staying in a hotel which we have done the past several years. We found this home to be a peaceful retreat, well stocked with the necessities and very clean. We highly recommend you check out this home on your next visit to Gulf Coast.

What a find!!! Having grown up in Long Beach, this is the best possible way to visit my hometown & spend time visiting family, friends, enjoying the beach & food I dearly love. Rosanna was a pleasure to deal with, the house was just as described & well stocked for a relaxing trip. Our 3 kids & 2 dogs loved the backyard & proximity to the beach! You couldn't possibly find a better gem than this place for your destination relaxation! We will definitely book more stays @ this house in the future!!!

Perfect for Family Reunion

I rented this house for a much needed family reunion with my children and grandchildren. We arrived from 3 states looking forward to the week. We were all so pleased with the house and its spaciousness....the kids loved to play ping pong as well as the many other games when the weather was rainy but the nicest surprise was the big yard and the nice pool. We got to bring our dogs with us and it was joy to see them run in the fenced yard. We also enjoyed the veranda, and I guess....loved it all! We would definitely go back again if you can get everyone together at the same time!

Our stay at the home was just what we wanted!!! Home away from home!! We have two small girls and did not want to travel far and they did not want to leave out dog Oreo behind so we were able to bring him with us. They thoroughly enjoyed the pool!!!! We felt at home being here!! The house was very clean and welcoming!!!! We would definitely consider going back again!!!!!

This is our second time to stay at this home, and we have already made our reservation to go back next year. We love the home, and the fact that we can bring our dog-kids with us. The large back yard is perfect for them. We can walk to the beach and hangout, then come home to the pool and the patio. The home is cozy, well maintained, and very clean and comfortable--truly our home away from home. Rosanna is a gracious owner, great to work with, and we so appreciate her opening her home and allowing us to visit!

The house was great. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults loved the fenced in backyard! It was close to the beach and there was always a nice breeze. Darwell's Cafe which is close by was amazing-the food was the best we had, they have live music every night and it was BYOB. Eat there! Children's Museum was a nice day trip when it rained. Overall a great experience, the owner was able to answer any question we had regarding the house and the area. She allowed us to check in early which was so convienent and helped us tremendously with our travel plans.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this cozy cottage. It was very relaxing, well decorated, and lots of room. Great place to get away to enjoy life and relax. The decorations were very tasteful and made it very comfortable. There was lots of room and space. All we had to bring was our clothes and food. Every thing else was there. All in all the house was amazing and we would definetly stay there again! Thank you Rosanna for sharing your house with us!

We have stayed at this home for several years and continue to return for many reasons. The home is well kept and very comfortable. Each year the owners add new improvements. The porch and pool are relaxing and you feel like you are home with some extra benefits. Being able to bring our fur children is a blessing since they are part of the family too. Rosanna is always great to work with and we appreciate her accomodating any schedule changes. We will continue to return to this property for vacation every year. Great family getaway

My family and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is immaculate, tastefully furnished, beautifully landscaped and feels like a home away from home (except cleaner). The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and even called to make sure we were having a good time and to recommend some local restaurants to us. I loved that the property comes stocked with family board games and a ping pong table. It is so close to the beach and the pier that we could fish and relax by the water at the same time. We took the ferry out to Ship Island for a day and swam on the beach there (because it has bigger waves) and checked out the old Civil War fort there too. The locals are friendly and food is great! We never wanted to leave. Really enojoyed the pool after a long day of family fun.

I am not sure who enjoyed this vacation house more, me or my family. We were in town for a wedding and decided to try to look for a place we could relax every time we come in the area. The house and landscape were clean, very well maintained and had every thing you need. The pool was absolutly great! The owners personal touches throughout the home were just icing on the cake for a great trip. We will try to use this home every visit we can. The walk to the beach and the very nice neighbors made this a relaxing and wonderful trip. Thank you

My family and I stayed 5 nights and had a great time! The house is great! Very homey, comfortable and clean. Very nice. The backyard is great as well. We didn't have to worry about the grandsons getting out into the street or our little chihuahua. Big beautiful shade trees so you can enjoy the yard anytime during the day and the hammock!! Very nice pool and the setup worked great for us, just take the ladder off to keep the little ones out. Beautiful kitchen. Everything worked perfectly. Nice deep jetted tub in the bath. The TV and dish worked great although we only watched it a little at night to let the boys wind down. It was also nice having the washer and dryer so we didn't have to haul dirty clothes home or find a laundry mat (yuck). It was more than wonderful being so close to the beach. We spent so much time there with our grandsons. Everyone had such a good time. Very relaxing. Very comfortable. Close to so much. Everyone in this area was so, so friendly. If you go be sure and try the cuban sandwich at the Winter Garden Restaurant. My husband and I are already talking about going again. This is just a wonderful get a way, whether you enjoy walking on the beach, going to the casinos, going out to tree island, shopping or seeing New Orleans (about 40 min). And when your day is done you can come back to a very comfortable home and kick back or float in the pool or swing in the hammock. Thanks Rosanna for being such a wonderful host!

This is a great place to stay I bring my grandchildren for summer vacations. The house is always clean and well maintained. The children love having the pool and beach available to choose from. I have been renting this house for summer vacations for years, and I took my boyfriend there for his birthday and he had a blast did not want to come home. I am booking this house again this year for when his son comes to town for his vacation. I would and do recommend this home to friends and family. The owner is always nice and the home is always clean and ready for guests, has everything in it you will need plus some. Thank you for renting this home to us to make some memories on our vacations.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! THE PLACE HAS ROACHES!!! DIRTY HOUSE!! THE OWNER IS HORRIBLE!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! My husband & I were looking forward to a nice stress free get-away & instead ended up more stressed. We arrived on a Thursday. The street was blocked due to construction & the road was all gravel. The house has a very musty smell. We lit candles, but it didn't help. There was also large dust balls in the corners? There was used toothbrushes on the sink & a refrigerator full of old food. It was completely disgusting! This all should have been removed before we got there(they are supposed to have a cleaning service?). Thursday night we saw 2 HUGE ROACHES in the bathroom. They were not dead or dying, but fully alive!! Therefore proving the house had not been sprayed recently, maybe never! Needless to say, that night we didn't sleep. The next night we saw SEVERAL LARGE ROACHES ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER! It seemed everytime we went into a room that was dark for awhile & turned on a light, thats were we'd see the roaches. This was the last straw. We didn't feel comfortable in the house knowing there was an obvious roach problem. Not only were we concerned about them crawling by our food that was sealed on the counters, but wondering if they would be CRAWLING ON US AS WE TRIED TO SLEEP! We were going to leave in the morning, but we saw several more roaches that night & decided to leave immediately at 11pm Friday! We were that uncomfortable that we left in the middle of the night & drove 2 hours home, cutting our trip a day & a half short! I called the owner first thing in the morning & was basically called a liar! I asked for a refund for Saturday night only(we were to check out Sunday). She refused & fought with me. She insulted us by saying we were lying, also saying she should've let her son's friends stay there instead of us. It was just one insult after another. Never apologizing for the problems. STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE on your vacation. Not only was our vacation ruined by the roaches, but the way the owner treated us after that fact was very offensive. She is very unprofessional! I do believe the owner was aware of the roach problem. I am aware that roaches are in the South, but also aware if you have your house sprayed regularly they will not be inside! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD RENTING A PROPERTY FROM ANYONE! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The owner had no regard for our feelings or us having to end our vacation early because of the condition of the house. IT WAS THE MOST UNSANITARY PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED! DO NOT STAY!!

Owner response:My house has been with VRBO for6 years now and it has never had a negative comment said about it. in fact i have the same renters stay year after year. yes, the road was gravel and had been for months. i personally called the renter and told her of the construction to make sure it was not an issue and give her an opportunity to choose another property since i never knew what to expect with the streets during the construction. it was the easter holiday weekend and i had turned down many request for the house in order to honor the first request that came in. i was recovering from a serious surgery and was delayed in responding to the request but felt it fair to respond in the order they were received. my house has no roaches, now during constructioni am not going to say i did not see mice outside, but it was to be expected with all the digging up of the streets. yes, there may have been ketchup, mustard or jelly in the fridge. if you want to use you are welcome, if not what the harm. i also leave coffee, tea and bags of microwave popcorn for renter to use. no one has ever said it to be offensive. my house is lovely and i have many repeat guest and a book full of guest comments to back up that statement. please visit my property and see for yourself.
