The property is located in the Big Lake Resort Complex. It has a westerly facing deck with a view of Sleeping Lady and Mount McKinley as well as Big Lake itself. It is the perfect place to visit if you want to see the Iron Dog or Iditarod as the location of the condo is 500 yards from the start of the Iron Dog snowmachine race and is halfway between the ceremonial start of the Iditarod in Anchorage and the official start in Willow. Big Lake has great water activities in the summer such as boating, jetskiing, tubing, waterskiing and for the slower paced, fishing. For winter activities there is also snowmachining, skiing, and ice fishing. This area is also a great place for ATV'ing as there are hundreds of miles of trails. This property comes with many amenities such as a resort hot tub, private dock, boat launch, playground and firepit. There is also a excercise room with various machines when you are ready for a great workout.
The condo is in a very convenient location with Steve's Food Boy right down the road as well as various restaurants, bars and a service station within 2 miles.

Everthing was as expected and my out of state visitors were delighted with everything. It was their first visit to Big Lake and a great way to show off the area. Great value and definitely to be recommended for future visits! We were attending a wedding in the area and not primarily there for the sports activiies. Took a trip to Talkeetna and flight around Denali which was terrific!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed at the condo from June 29th to July 6th and loved it! It had a lot of room for our family of four. Because we were there on July 4th we were able to view the amazing fireworks from our deck. The condo was spacious, comfortable, new looking with a beautiful view from all directions and fully equipped with everything you would need.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
