  My apologies for not leaving this review earlier Maurizio. Was booking another apartment [not in Rome!] and realized I forgot to leave my review on this amazing apartment. From start to finish, this was a pleasure. I was cautious as we were booking from overseas... but, Maurizio was extremely punctual when returning emails! And once we arrived, we were thrilled to find this stunning gem in the heart of ancient Rome. A perfect size for my husband and I and our 2 boys, 10 and 12. The apartment was gorgeous, even nicer than pictured in photos... with many modern amenities! We loved the location... around the corner from the pantheon and a short walk to trevi fountain... the underground was close by but we didn't want to miss a thing... so we walked aimlessly around stumbling upon amazing finds over our 5 days! Maurizio was a pleasure to deal with and gave us great restaurant recommendations...we can't wait to come back and wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again! Maurizio's wine shop below was an unexpected pleasure and my husband and he had more than one wine conversation! Grazie mille!!!

  This apartment is practically around the corner from the Pantheon and very convenient for walking to many other attractions. The owner, Maurizio, was helpful in making our transportation arrangements from the airport and met us promptly upon our arrival. What is very comforting and convenient is that he runs a wine shop next door to the apartment so he is very accessible. The apartment was as advertised and furnished well but the kitchen is very small, which was not a problem for us since we didn't use it. One small issue was there was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived so we made a quick run to the local store just around the corner...not a big deal but something we would have expected to be there. Although there was some street noise, we felt safe and liked the location very much.

  What a great apartment and location. We walked to everything. Pantheon, Colosseum, Vatican City. From the time we arrived at the apartment we did not use public transportation once. The apartment is as described. There were three of us and we had plenty of space. The only negative is that the bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. But, that was minor and not an inconvenience at all. Maurizio was easy to communicate with prior to our arrival and Sarah, who met us at the wine shop when we arrived, was just lovely. The narrow street that the apartment is located on does have some traffic but we enjoyed having the windows open, the breeze coming though, and hearing the local street noises. We felt like part of the city.

  My family just stayed 4 nights in this wonderful apartment. Who could ask for a better experience than to stay in a classic Italian apartment with all of the modern conveniences? The apartment was clean and well maintained - the owner Maurizio was very pleasant and available as needed. He was very prompt with his email communications during the booking process. He arranged for a driver and car to meet us at the airport, which was virtually the same price as a taxi and so much more relaxing. He was able to give us restaurant recommendations. The pictures and description are accurate. We enjoyed walking to the Pantheon, the Coliseum, the Forum, the Spanish Steps, and the Vatican/Saint Peter's Basilica easily from this apartment. It is located on a lovely street with shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood was lively day and night and felt safe. The apartment gave us plenty of space for our 2 teenagers to have their space (the internet works great) and for us to have a separate bedroom. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and have thrown my coin into the Trevi Fountain (within walking distance, too!) to ensure my return to Rome. Be sure to have a gelato at the Frigidarium and Giolotti while you are there!

  This property has an excellent location to see all the major attractions in Rome. No more than a 15-20 minute walk to nearly all popular sites, many within 5 minutes. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Many restaurants and grocery store within 5 minutes. While there's some street noise at night, with ear plugs, I slept soundly. Good size living-dining room with private bedroom. Apartment is located on the 2nd level (called the first floor in Europe). Never any concerns of safety in this area. Minor drawbacks of apartment are no handrail on a portion of the steps to the apartment, no toaster or drip coffee maker, hand held shower, and tv has no english speaking stations. Maurizio, the property manager, operates a nearby wine shop and is available daily to answer any questions. Overall, very pleased with the apartment.

  My family and I spent a wonderful week here. The apartment surpasses the photos - it is absolutely lovely, beautifully appointed and in spotless condition. There was plenty of space for the four of us. The location is fantastic, it's easy to walk everywhere and being so close to the Pantheon is really magical. Maurizio was terrific - arranging for a car to pick us up at the airport (which I highly recommend) and saving the day when we locked the keys in the apartment (which I don't recommend!) We just loved this apartment and it's amazing location - we can't wait to return for another visit!

  This apartment is absolutely perfect for a trip to Rome. The location is awesome, and the condition is outstanding - the photos don't do it justice. The pull out sofa accommodated my two middle-school kids easily, and it was great to have a fridge and also to be able to make a cup of coffee in the morning. Maurizio is a wonderful guy, and the fact that his wine shop is three doors down couldn't be more convenient. We walked from here to all the big tourist areas easily. I would recommend this place for up to four people, for a couple who wants more than a hotel room, or even for business if you want a larger space. Thanks Maurizio - this was really great!

  We stayed at Maurizio's wonderful apartment for 3 nights in October. We could not be happier with our choice! The location is perfect - steps from the Pantheon, an easy walk to the Colosseum, Piazza Navona & the neighborhoods around nearby. Easy access to buses and/or taxis. The apartment itself was perfect for us. Very clean and had everything you could need and use as a base for your Roman adventure. Maurizio was a gracious host and was available at his wine shop a few doors down most of the time. Please don't hesitate to give this apartment a chance.

  The listing doesn't even come close to how wondeful this apartment was. Located literally steps away from the Pantheon and easily the best Gelato place in Rome....it was huge, amazingly high ceilings, clean, spacious and an unbelievably comfortable bed. Air conditioned throughout, fresh linen and towels - I felt like I was in a hotel suite - for an amazing price...Giovanni was amazing and so helpful be sure to visit the wine store across the cobblestone laneway - terrific! The shower / bathtub was amazing - I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I stayed for 3 nights and it was the best part of my trip. When I arrived, tears of joy literally ran down my face - worth the money and I will definitely book when I return to Rome :) On top of the comfort, cleanliness etc. it was within walking distance to so many different sites...incredible!!!!

  This apartment appears to be newly remodeled and renovated. The pictures provided in the listing are accurate and representative as of June 2011. What is not mentioned in the present listing is that the bathroom has a bathtub with handheld shower and there is a foldable door that encloses half of the tub for showering. There is a bidet in addition to the toilet and the bathroom has plenty of space. The location of the apartment is hard to beat, less than two blocks from the Pantheon and within walking distance to the forum/coliseum sights. Mauricio provided a good supply of nice towels for our family of 4 and he was very helpful in general. Also worth mentioning was that the apartment was delivered in immaculate condition - Mauricio must have an excellent housekeeping staff. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment to others.
