Listing was accurate as described, and an exact photo of the apartment. Very well located, 2 blocks from MSKCC. Nice residential neighborhood. Quiet by NY standards. Very tasty cheap asian restaurant Beijing Wok nearby. Hara was a great host, friendly and caring. Definitely recommended.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I have been on holidays from Australia and had a great time staying at this 1 bedroom apartment. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. My stay was only brief, however I would not hesitate to stay here again. Hara was also wonderful in making sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay! The apartment is just as it appears in the listing. It is very clean and comfortable, and the location can't be beat. Having an air mattress available allowed my daughter to stay over following a surgery. It was our little home away from home, and we loved the neighborhood and it's conveniences. We're looking forward to another visit without the stress of a surgery! Thank you!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great place to stay for the week. Location was vary handy to subway, grocery stores and Central Park. Everything felt like home and we cooked some and ate out some. Received good information from the owner and we liked her very much. Hope to be back soon.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I came to NY for a medical procedure in June and could not have been happier with this apartment. It is charming, very clean, very well equipped with all your needs. The owner was more than helpful with a list of places to eat, shop, things to see and how to get around. There were fresh flowers, fruit and coffee for us upon our arrival which I thought was a nice touch. We were there for 11 days and I felt entirely safe in and out of the apartment. It was easy for me to visit my husband in the hospital and once I mastered the subway it was easy to get anywhere I wanted to go. It was a beautiful short walk to Cental Park and we did that daily. We will go to NY again someday and I hope that when we do this place is available. Hara thank you so much for your kindness....you truly are a special person!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is place is real jewel in the heart of upper east side of Manhattan ,so happy that we found it, for sure we will come back to this place, is a safe neighborhood,we usually like to go out at nite came back really late-nite so yea is safe , ""clean"",neat, modern,well organize, good stuff ,close to everything, like my wife likes to make breakfast well it came with a little kitchen dishes,pans well everything. It is worth the money well it has all the things you need and them some... no like the other places where we have been before the always lie about the-yer places you know dirty,creepy,in the middle of no where,and yess dirtyyy ,we have been in some of those places before and it can be really disappointing... WE PROMISE YOU no this place what you see is what you really get and them some...,truly really nice.The person in charge Hara is a very nice lady as well... no question about her, very nice lady,, ah this was our second week of our honey moon,, .. well worth it,nice place...well enjoy 'cuz we did, truly Wendy and MikeDid you find this review helpful? My husband and I stayed in the apartment for one week. The flat is exactly as shown in the website. No surprises!! We found the place very clean and cozy. The apartment is VERY well located, just a couple of blocks from the subway (Line 6) and a few blocks from Central Park. There are several shops, restaurants & markets around the building and we were so nicely welcomed by the owner, who provided us precious tips on what was going on in NYC at that period. We will certainly return and we would sure reccommend this apartment to our friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The apartment is very well located, just a few blocks from the subway (line 6) and from Central Park. The area is surrounded by shops, restaurants, markets, etc. The flat is exactky as shown in these pictures. No surprises! The property is actually well-maintained, clean and the owner of the apartment was very kind. She has provided all sort of information about the city at that period and she was available when we had to contact her during our stay. It was our first visit to NYC (01 to 07 June) and we had all the doubts and fears in this housing system. With my wife we decided to rent with Hara and we are not mistaken. The apartment was perfect. Ideally located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. A few blocks from Central Park and the subway. Clean, careful and in very good condition. We will do just waiting for us, gave us the beinvenida in person and gave us some tips for sightseeing. He even gave a discount coupon book for my wife shopping!! Clean and quiet apartment not far from the subway. We are from the west coast and were given quite a bit of helpful information regarding things to do in the city upon arrival. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
