We just came from a weekend with 2 other families and this house was fantastic. It was perfectly depicted on the website - three master bedrooms/bathrooms and a great kids room with 6 bunk beds - perfect for multiple families. Everything was in great condition and nicely furnished. The location was great too - minutes walk from the Northstar village and well appointed for skiing and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again next year and recommend it to friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Just had an amazing extended weekend at this fantastic property. We had 4 couples and having 4 bedrooms each with their own private baths made for a super relaxing, super comfortable home-away-from-home. Pictures don't do this home justice ... its much larger than the photos portray with a beautiful gourmet kitchen and dining table that seats 8 + breakfast bar. Top-of-the-line appliances were a welcome site as we cooked just about every meal in. Location can't be beat with the pool, village, gondola and hiking just steps from the front door. Luxury, comfort, space ... Simply Perfect!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from a wonderful stay with two other families at this gorgeous NorthStar home. The home was beyond our expectations - exceptionally clean, spacious and very well-stocked (shampoo, body wash, humidifiers in every room). The location was perfect, a very short walk to the Village where our boys spent most of the days in the pool at the recreation center (also exceptionally clean) or roller skating at the rink at the Village - it was nice not having to get into the cars the majority of our vacation. When we did get into our cars the location was convenient - Safeway was a short drive away as well as Kings Beach and Tahoe City. The owners were very responsive before, during and after the reservation. They even helped us navigate the remote controls when we couldn't figure out how to turn on the television! I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to rent this house again in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Spent a week with another couple at this magnificent town home in August 2011. The unit was clean and well-maintained--everything worked! The kitchen is terrific. Took advantage of the short walk to the village several times. Owner was prompt and helpful in responding to questions. If you have the opportunity, don't miss the star tour up the mountain--the evening sky was awesome! This town home is our rental of choice at Northstar!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our visit was thoroughly enjoyable thanks in large part to the wonderful accommodations. The home has modern yet warm finishes that rival any of the nicest places we have stayed in Tahoe. The proximity to the North Star Village proved to be a huge benefit for our family as we could all enjoy different activities (it is literally a 5 minute walk from the home). The recreation facility also had a great heated pool and workout room. The highlight of the house is the kitchen and family room area. The Viking appliances make cooking and entertaining very enjoyable. The high vaulted ceiling and open floor plan make relaxing with the family very enjoyable. Comfortable beds, a great BBQ and spacious outdoor decks are some of the other great benefits of the home. We would absolutely stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.
