This was a nice apartment and close enough to walk to the French Quarter. Owner was very accomodating.

The owner of the condo was very helpful and recommended several places to to go see and eat. It was conveniently located to the French Quarter. It was very roomy and could sleep 8-10! It would be helpful to have the hotel supplies like soap, shampoo, tissues, etc.The condo could use a thorough cleaning. The beds were okay, but could stand to be replaced.
Owner response:The apartment featured in listing 34034 is not a hotel or B&B type rental. I do not supply personal supplies one would find in such spaces. I supply toiler tissue, and paper towels, laundry detergent, and kitchen detergents, etc. The apt had just been cleaned from top to bottom, all furniture moved so I cannot agree that the place needed cleaning in this case. It usually gets paint touch up during the slower times in Dec or Jan. Luggage is tough on paint. Beds are 2007 and are in good condition.

Seven adults (plus one infant) stayed here for 3 nights. Location was perfect..for walking down to Bourbon street, Decatur street and Frenchmen. We could part two cards inside the compound. Kitchen has a cooking range, refrigerator and microwave. Nice little courtyard out front and back. Glenn the owner was ready with tips on what to do and where to eat.

This place is a pretty good location; 6 blocks from the quarter's edge but only 10-12 minute walk to most places where we went. Walking we felt safe during the day and after night which was important as we had 2 teenage boys with us. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was OK except for the shower curtains which were so thin they flew up and stuck to us. The one in the shower was too short and got water on the slippery tile (throughout). The kitchen needs more dishes as there was only 1 bowl for all 6 of us to eat cereal in the morning. The place was nice for the money but really needs to have more up-keep from the owner. Again, even it's current state it is comfortable and a good deal. The owner is VERY helpful with things to do and see in town as well as how to deal with some local customs. He was also very friendly.

Great location so far as getting to all the main attractions - we enjoyed the beautiful walk to the French Quarter each day, but definitely use a cab after dark. The price was great, and the place suited our needs, however the place really needs a DEEP and THOROUGH clean. Kitchen could use more dishes and utensils etc Owner was helpful and took on board my comments, so I hope future visitors will beneift!

This was the perfect venue for our group of 6 adults, the couple having its private rooms and others their own beds. Ideally located close from Frenchmen street, French market and Bourbon, we could walk to jazz bars and come back at any time of night without any security problems. A place to definitely adopt for a NOLA stay!

Owner wonderful person to work with. Beautiful home, lots of room, full size kitchen. If you rent the 3 bedroom you have two baths which worked out great! Nice area. Not far for walking to some major attractions. Gated courtyard and private parking was very secure. I loved this property and would stay again! I was wary at first with it being not far from the busy French Quarter but it was just perfect and we had 3 children with us.

We stayed for a week with our children and grandchildren. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us with the sofa bed to spare. The walk to the French Quarter was just right. We needed the excersize after all the food we ate. There were even several good restaurants within 2-3 blocks. The owner was very helpful and easy to get along with. We will definitely book again.

My family stayed here a few days before memorial day. First time ever rented from a VRBO, I was a little uneasy until we arrived. Found it to be exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable and was just as described.,

I stayed in this apartment during spring break 2010, with my family. I was skepticle at first but found it nicely located near the end of Burbon St; and it was clean and quaint. The parking (in the gated area) was nice but even our extra car out on the street, was fine. It is located with easy access to the highway and the downtown area. This is a good bargain.
