Recently remodeled chic and cozy cabin studio features a private semi-loft room with double bed, 1 bathroom with large shower stall, living room with fully-equipped kitchenette (minus a dishwasher), futon sofa, and private deck. The oversized detached garage is shared space with the main cabin house (HomeAway #356141) and features a 2-person sauna, washer & dryer, mountain bikes, sleds, games, movies, books, rafts, and extra snow-play gear, all shared with guests in the main house.
Exposed beams, wood and brick walls, bamboo and tile floors. Trendy decor. Kitchenette is small but technologically advanced with a ''Half-time oven'' and a one-burner cooktop stove that uses magnetic technology to speed cooking time.
This cozy unit is a perfect hideaway for a couple wanting a romantic weekend in the mountains, an individual wanting a private retreat, a small group of close friends hitting the slopes, or a family traveling with 1-2 kids. It's small but VERY charming! We host many couples for their wedding night since Wrightwood is becoming a popular spot for outdoor weddings.

The Hideaway is a great escape which is very close to breathtaking surroundings. If you are looking for simple tranquility and not luxury and hustle-bustle, this place is for you. We also took advantage of the Navitat zip line there at a 20% discount from Barbara and Stu's recommendation. this cozy little apartment was the perfect place for a quick stay in wrightwood for our little family of 3 + our dog! it had everything one could need with a nice yard for playtime or to relax in the hammock. we will definitely visit when snow falls again next winter. and the location is terrific for such an easy commute to Mountain High for a day of skiing! thank you for being true to your description and photos. a big thumbs up from us!Did you find this review helpful? This cabin is so cute, clean, bright, and cozy! It was perfect for a weekend getaway with my boyfriend. At this time of year, sitting outside on the porch and swinging in the hammock was pure bliss. We loved the sleeping loft and the charming decor. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

The cabin is truly adorable. The decor has a modern, asian vibe and is perfectly designed for the small but just right space. The owners have put a lot of effort in to making people feel comfortable and right at home. It's was nice to relax outside in the hammocks. The yard was perfect for the kids to play. My husband and two kids and I spent only one night at the Hideway but it was everything we expected. The pictures are very accurate and the cabin was well maintained and spotless when we arrived. We decided to make a last minute trip on a Friday and started looking for places on Thursday. The owner immediately responded to my request and subsequent questions and we got it booked very quickly. The kids enjoyed the massive DVD selection. There is a helpful binder with manuals/instructions for all the appliances. Decor is super cute with lots of great personal touches. Plenty of linens, towels, etc. Thank you Barbara and Stuart for the discounted lift tickets and for going out of your way to meet us us early Friday morning to make sure we could use the tickets as soon as we arrived. Talk about going above and beyond and great customer service. Our security deposit was refunded before we even arrived back home Saturday night. Wow! Thank you so much Barbara and Stuart for allowing us to stay at your amazing little cabin. It was so nice to come home after a day of snow play to a warm cozy place. Barbara was so nice to work with us on the dates we were staying and responded quick to any email i sent. Very impressive. The cabin decor was so cute I didn't want to leave. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck and watched the sun go down. Truly lovely. We will be coming back with the rest of the family this time. Thank you again. Feb. 2: Hi Ms. Barbara and Mr. Stewart. It is my second day here and I love the bed. The cabin is sooooo cute! Later on my friend and my parents and I are going to go on the hammock then up to the snow. Feb. 3: Hi again. We went on the hammock and the snow mountain! Sledding and the tubing place.
