The house is beautiful - it looks even better than the photos - and as well as being lovely to look at it, it is also extremely comfortable and well equipped. The area is peaceful and scenic. Only being a couple of hours drive from NYC, it is a perfect place to escape for the weekend. We hope to return soon. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Two couples stayed in the bungalow over a weekend. The decor is amazing. It felt like we were staying in a house featured in a magazine. If you appreciate the details, which I do, then you will love this house. Just minutes from small towns surrounding the area, there are tons of restaurants to choose from. We didn't do much cooking, but it was roomy enough to cook dinner for a family. It was very comfortable for two couples, and we slept great on the beds. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had the perfect, wind-down, long weekend away at this amazingly well-appointed house. So much care and attention to detail was put into this place. The owners clearly take pride and have an incredible eye. But beyond the design and style, they also equip their guests with information about the area, things to do and places to eat. They make it all so easy! Their attention to detail -- in everything -- is beyond compare.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We cooked, played in the yard, sat on the porch, went wine tasting, shopping, and just set our brains on "chill" speed. The house is lovely. You were delightful and invisible hosts - thanks for letting us stay! Enjoyed all the attention to detail.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a gem of a retreat in the Hudson Valley! Every corner and wall space was artfully curated with joy, we can see! Thanks for letting us stay in the 1930 Bungalow. We had a lovely time at Lake Minnewaska & Kelder's Farm. It was a perfect getaway for New Yorkers. My 2 1/2 year old enjoyed all the vintage toys - his first time meeting a smurf. Going to recommend the place to my artsy & fashion pals.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
