We came from California for a family reunion, my parents live in New York. The house was perfect for our family, including our 10 year olds. The area is lovely with much to do and many restaurants. The owner is charming and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house is immaculate. The pool is quiet and sunny all day long. It is an ez, short walk to the Bay Beach and to the end of the street, where you can watch the sunset. The owner provides even more than we expected. This has become our go to house for our summer vacations. I think we may try a winter stay next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Thank you Beverly! We have had a great 2 weeks in you house. Visited the Lighthouse in Montauk, which the kids loved. Wolfder's Estate we enjoyed on weekends, live music, sparking wine and open spaces for the boys to run. We had many fun afternoons in the pool, which the kids loved. Hope to come back again soon. This is a perfect family getaway. We met our kids and grand kids here for a 2 week holiday. The owner was so accommodating, we felt we were staying at a friends home. The location could not be better. It is an easy walk to the edge of the water. The pool is heaven. Town is a short drive away. Honestly, we spent most of our time by the pool. We are looking forward to our stay in 2012...we had such a wonderful time at this house in 2011 and 2010. Perfect for family reunions. The pool is the best, we almost never leave it...when we do we go to the nearby Bay Beach.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We live in Los Angelos. Our kids and grand kids live on the East Coast. We met for a family week together. What a perfect house for this. The kids loved the pool and almost never wanted to go any place else. We loved the fact that there as so many good restaurants nearby. We never had to brave the crowds in town,unless someone wanted to. We hope to do this again sometime and will certainly choose this lovely home.Did you find this review helpful? We had an fantastic time at the house. We loved the lend, leave library and read some amazing book while resting by the pool. We are looking forward to our return visit this year. The pool is a real SWIMMING Pool. Location is perfect as well. Near the water, away from the crowds but near enough to enjoy them, if we choose.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: I love the ocean, salt water and just being in and around the sea. It was always my dream to have a house near the coast. Now, I would like to share my dream with you. I love my house. I adore walks on the beach in the early morning; having a drink at one of the local restaurants on the water and watching the sun go down in the evening. The light here is special. It gives a pink glow to the land and makes colors more vibrant. This is the reason many artists have chosen to make East Hampton their home. The bay is amazing. I go clamming most days, often I bring a bottle of wine to watch the sun go down and sit in amazement of natures beauty. My favorite is a campfire. Yes, at the bay you can have them year round. I came here an Ocean person and have begun to prefer the bay.
