  I just got back yesterday from this house... I must say that my family and I LOVED LOVED LOVED this place... The pictures do not justify the way this place looks. We spent 2 weeks at this house and loved every minute of it. We didn't have any issues with water. We did have an issue with the AC in the master bedroom the 2nd day we were there but Albit was very quick to correct the problem and we never had an issue after that. The place was amazing and very relaxing. I have family that actually lives in Puerto Rico and they came by and absolutely fell in love...They are planning on recommending this place to others in the future that they know are looking for a place to stay when they come into Puerto Rico and even with them living on the island they are willing to stay at this place for the weekends. Albit even welcomed us with pasteles de yuca upon our arrival. The kids had an amazing time in the pool. Albit was sure to ensure that the pool was cleaned having a pool guy come out on Wednesday and Saturday mornings early enough not to disrupt us. I used the pack and play that was purchased by the owners for another family that had just stayed there and it worked out great. Our vacation was cut short because of a winter storm that was coming thru our area. I contacted Albit to make him aware we were leaving early and he was kind enough to send me an email asking how me and my family were doing and if we had actually made it home safely and even offered to send us refund for us not staying there. Who does that?!?!?! no hotel I know does that ... That shows you how much of an honest and fair person he is. I definitely will be calling him again when I go back. It would not be worth me going anywhere else. This is the place for me and my family!!! Thank you Albit for everything we truly enjoyed it...

• Lovely Private Getaway!

  Our primary reason for renting this house was for the pool area / covered terrace space, which was truly lovely (even nicer than it looks in the photos!) -- we spent nearly 90% of our time there relaxing on the couch and around the table! Perfect breezes & pool gets full sun all afternoon. (We were disappointed to find that there were not any pool floats, but we purchased (and left behind) some foam noodles to relax on.) There was a BBQ and many board games available - much more hospitable than many places we have rented -- you can tell that their family enjoys this home quite a bit & wants guests to also! The house had a lot more kitchen amenities than an average rental house - making it very easy to cook in, which was ideal for us (the options in Parguera town were a bit thin, although we quite enjoyed MOONS.) If you are planning to cook, I encourage you to stop at a larger ECONO store in either San German or Guanica for your shopping - the Mercado in Parguera is friendly and has the basics but not much in the way of fresh fruit & veg, meats. Challenges: We had a problem with the air conditioning in the master bedroom on the first night, but it was repaired the next day by Albit and his helpful assistant. The TV worked only with NetFlix, not normal cable television -- which was fine for us, we weren't there to watch TV! The internet wireless worked flawlessly -- it would have been nice to be able to stream Pandora radio to the exterior speakers, but we weren't able to figure out how to do that. (There was a good assortment of spanish-language CDs available, though.) Water is a major issue in this whole section of the island -- apparently it 'goes out' frequently. We were warned about this and there is a reserve cistern in the case city water does not function. We were never able to figure out how to make the hot water work -- we did inquire with Albit who gave us instructions, but it still never got beyond 'tepid' in the showers. Honestly, for us it was so warm that it wasn't a major inconvenience, but I have encouraged them to check the water heater and leave better instructions for guests. Albit and Aura were very attentive, quick to reply to all our inquiries throughout the process. Their 'cash or money order ' policy made me nervous at the beginning, and I encouraged them to consider exploring PayPal or other options to enable guests to feel more comfortable -- because this truly was a lovely private house to spend a relaxed vacation!

  Beautiful property, hosts were outstanding! They went out of there way to get a new pack and play for our six month old, they had fresh fruit out upon our arrival. Everything in the town is so close an convenient. The beaches near by are very romantic and peaceful! I'd recommend this property to a friend.

  My husband, daughter, and I just returned, a few days ago, from a perfect week staying at Albit & Aura's lovely house.The owners greeted us very warmly upon our arrival at the house. The house is beautiful, colorful, and spacious. The accommodations were wonderful and the hosts are so very nice, friendly, and charming! The pictures don't do this beautiful house justice, for it is much more beautiful in person. The house is very clean and very well maintained. The view of the Caribbean Sea is breathtakingly gorgeous. The swimming pool is big, beautiful, and extremely refreshing. We very much enjoyed our relaxing stay at this fantastic house, and look forward to returning in the future! Thanks for your hospitality and for sharing your superb home with us! ¡Muy agradecidos por todos sus detalles, mil gracias!

  We stayed in this beautiful home for 9 days and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. The home offers panoramic views of the Carriben sea. The owners Albit and Aura were very helpful and thougtful, when we arrived at the house we were greeted with fresh flowers on the table and fresh local fruit. My favorite part of the house was the gazebo with the hammocks, I spent almost every night here taking in the summer breeze and looking at the stars. I would defenitely recommend this home to anyone and plan on visiting again real soon!

  We stayed in this attractive home with one other family. It has lovely views of the ocean and a secluded patio and pool area. The kitchen is well stocked. The open living area was very comfortable and allowed us easy flow within the house. The house is within close proximity to the town of La Parguera, a quick 5 minute car ride. There are restaurants, small grocery stores, a 24 hour gas station (with free wi-fi), fish market, marina access and many other sites all within a short drive. Hop on a water taxi or rent a boat to explore the local cayos excellent for snorkeling or diving. Albit, the owner was easy to reach and answered any questions we had prior to our arrival. We arrived at night and his son was kind enough to guide us the last mile or two to their home. For those individuals who miss being connect internet-we did not have wi-fi while there but our cell phones (Verizon) worked without any difficulty. If you are staying in this part of Puerto Rico, this home is worth a visit!

  My family and I spent a most relaxing week at this beautiful house, which is better in real life than what the pictures suggest. The location in the hills above La Parguera provided peace and quiet, but easy access to the town and surrounding area. We were greeted by the owner and his wife upon our arrival and shown everything we needed to know about the house. The owners also provided us with suggestions for restaurants and grocery stores and activities in the area. We would definitely rent this house again!

  House is exactly as described by both Albit (owner) and rental reviews. Owner takes extreme pride in his home. It was as if it was our home away from home. I made a few small suggestions upon my return and Albit acted immediately upon each...in addition to replacing the Refrigerator which I mentioned may need serviced. We drove from San Juan to La Parguera in approx. 2 hrs. "Grocery" store was approximately 30 minutes outside of La Parguera in Guanica. Small convenience stores are near by. The BioLuminescent bay is a must do. We are experienced scuba divers and thoroughly enjoyed this first time experience. There was NO traffic or noise surrounding this home as it sets on a dead end street. This is an extremely peaceful setting with fabulous star gazing opportunities. There is nothing I would change about this home and its location. It is perfect!

  My family and I enjoyed this property inmensely. The house was in a great location. We loved the pool and outside deck and we were able to barbeque and enjoy the beautiful view. The house was clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend it and I have plans to return to this amazing home in the near future. The owners were very friendly and answered all my questions and even emailed me additional photos of the property.

  This property is much better than it looks in the photos. It is full of beautiful decorative accents. The kitchen is fully equipped. Rooms are comfy and cozy. The terrace and pool are great. We enjoyed gazing the stars while relaxing in the warm water. Albit, the owner, is extremely corteuos and helpful. This tasteful house had everything we needed, but specially it has love and happiness energy which we felt as the door opened. If you want to spend a great time -resting, dancing, singing, basking under the sun, biking, snorkeling or napping,-this is the place.
