You enter through the green gate into the welcoming garden, past the lovely flowers on your right to the blue gated front door. Inside there is a lovely living-room with a comfortable couch, reclinable TV chair, TV with DVD and more. You will also find several original pieces of art that decorate the flat. There air conditioning unit is in this room.
Through the double doors you will find a very comfortable English antique styled queen bed. There are a number of sets of top quality linens for our guest's use, as well as towels etc.
Around the corner from the living-room is the kitchen and dining area. The table seats 4. The kosher dairy kitchen is a fully equipped with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, fridge, stovetop/oven, water urn, microwave oven, and toaster oven. While we ask people not to cook meat in the kitchen we do not object if you are careful when bringing in kosher take out and eat on disposable dishes.
Off this area is a nice large bathroom with large stall shower that is equipped with a massage shower. So after a hard day of sightseeing you can take that how shower and just relax in the sun drenched garden right out your door.

About the owner: I grew up in Los Angeles but have lived in Jerusalem for more than 30 years. I worked in the hotel business and now manage a few properties near my own home. I will be happy to give you tips about what to see, where to go, and where to eat. We want you to have the best experience visiting this unique city where all 3 religions meet and so much history has occured.
Why the Owner Chose Jerusalem:
This flat was originally purchased for my parents for when they would come visit. The traditional interior design was done with them in mind so they would feel at home. The bed was purchased for its comfort as was the couch in the living-room. Being part of an Old Arab building, it has a unique sort of charm you don't find in any other city in the world. Past guests have raved about the garden... the weather in Jerusalem is rarely too cold to sit outside. For those who want a bit of exercise one can walk to the Old City in about 30 minutes or swim in the nearby public pool or work out at one of the nearby gyms. Its all here at your finger tips.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
The flat is just a 3 minute walk down to Emek Rephaim where some of Jerusalem's best kosher restautants are located. Restaurant row is hopping into the wee hours of the night. The Emek Rephaim area is also known for its convenience to the Old City (about a 30 minute walk), the center of town, the Israel Museum, etc ... where ever you want to get to, you can from Emek Repahim.
