My husband and I just spent 14 days at this lovely home. It is very nicely decorated and we felt so comfortable there! We would spend the mornings drinking our coffee on the patio and the late afternoons relaxing in the pool and then use the grill to make dinner! The photos accurately reflect what a nice home this is! Arashi beach is just a 5 minute drive from the house. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Aruba! The house is also a very short drive from the high rise hotel area. We will definitely stay here again, if the house is available!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so much for such a kind review. We're always so happy to hear what a good time everyone has at the house - we love it and are so glad that all of you do too. We await your reservation for your next trip to Aruba!

We stayed at this villa for 12 nights. What a comfortable, clean, meticulously organized, well layed-out, roomy, welcoming home. After a long day of travel, our family of six arrived at the house to be greeted by Michel, the villa's caretaker. He walked us through the home and explained how things worked (outdoor lighting, pool, alarm system, etc.), answered any questions, and gave us the keys. With five adults and a teenager in the home, we had plenty of space. The bedrooms are colorful with built-in closet storage walls... more room than anyone traveling would need. The master bedroom has a wonderful walk-in closet with plenty of space for dressing. The completely tiled bathrooms are CLEAN, large, and of modern European design. The kitchen is well equiped for cooking meals. Full size Whirlpool refridgerator with ice-maker and filtered water dispenser on door, four-burner gas cooking top on island, and built-in microwave/convection oven on wall are all in new condition. Large working island in kitchen allowed plenty of space for everyone to help in preparing meals. Quiet ceiling fans in all bedrooms, with two in vaulted ceiling of greatroom. Large stackable washer/dryer in laundry room off the kitchen worked great. Neighbors are friendly and outgoing. Backyard is completely private and landscaped well. Outdoor hot/cold shower is nice to have after a day at the beach. Covered patio area has sturdy outdoor furnishings and a gas grill. Pool is clean and water temperature is comfortable... not deep... perhaps four feet... flat bottom. Large wall-mounted, flat screen TV's in greatroom and master bedroom. Attractions we'd recommend... ABC all-day jeep safari with 10 stops for sightseeing and snorkeling... the entire offroad coast of the island... northwest to southeast. About $100(US) for 8 hrs. What a bargain... and loads of fun! Itito's Watersports... Itito lives across the street and gave us a great price on parasailing and banana boat rides... very safety conscience and kind. Hike the National Park Arikok with a guide for $25 plus $8/per adult admission (under 17 is free)... start early 7am due to heat... take plenty of water and hat. Gostoso's Restaurant in Oranjestad, Taste of Belgium in Palm Beach, Lecca Lecca Italian Gelato in Oranjestad, The Dutch Pancakehouse for crepes in Oranjestad, Texas de Brazil in high rise hotel area, and Chef's Tables near the house. The corner outdoor Dutch bar down the street was nice. Hope to visit again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This three-bedroom villa is conveniently located near many fine beaches and restaurants. But why go out? It's as much fun to sit on the shady veranda reading or jump in the pool for a cooling swim. The spotless, well-appointed living space is easy to cook in, with plenty of utensils and staples, and the bbq is handy. The caretaker lives nearby and is friendly and accessible, not that we needed anything important. A good list of restaurants comes with the rental package. The stargazing is spectacular!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Bruce, thank you for taking the time to describe your stay. We are so happy to hear that your time there was a pleasant one. Melissa & Joe

The house was AMAZING!! It made for "The Perfect Honeymoon"! Exactly what we needed to just kick back and relax in Aruba. Everything exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have asked for anything more to make our honeymoon enjoyable and something we will never forget. The backyard/pool is extremely private and relaxing (so enjoyable especially after a day at the beaches/highrises). It doesn't get any easier to get whisked away into relaxation and forget about the hustle, bustle, wedding planning and chaos es of everyday life. Incredibly relaxing and refreshing! The house allows you to feel as though you are in your own tropical paradise! Michel was great, extremely friendly and accommodating. We tried Chef's Tables and completely fell in love with it; the food, the people, the atmosphere made it one of the best meals on the island :) Once again the house was absolutely PERFECT (Gwen and I didn't want to leave), but at the same time we are looking forward to returning to the island!!!! Especially 15 Topaz! I think all return trips will be based upon the availability of 15 Topaz because when you've stayed at paradise you don't want to stay anywhere else :)! Thank you! Thanks, ShawnDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful house in March of 2009. We had such a wonderful time we are going back again this July. We cannot wait to return to this fantastic location as this truly is the perfect getaway we both need from the hectic pace of the city life. Every morning we would start out by having the most peaceful and relaxing breakfast on the secluded patio and just be amazed by the sights and sounds of Aruba. The most picturesque and vivid memory was watching and listening to the brightly colored parakeets resting on top of the cactus plants. During the day we did not have to travel far to enjoy the pristine beaches of Aruba, and take the time to go sight seeing and learning all about the history of this country. At night we able to enjoy the many fine restaurants which were also not far from the house. The house is so spacious and open compared to having the standard room in the nearby hotels where your living space is very limited. We also had the luxury of having the property manager living just minutes away in case we needed anything. We did not have to call him but he did check in with us and was always very courteous and helpful. We strongly recommend staying at this perfect getaway to anyone who plans on gong to Aruba.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Ed & Lorraine - thank you so much for such a lovely review. It is so appreciated! Melissa & Joe

At the recommendation of a dear friend, my husband and I stayed at this lovely property for our 20th wedding anniversary. We wanted to get away for a little romantic fun in the sun anniversary. The property was in a beautiful location and the spacious living areas were so amazing. We had all the privacy needed as the back yard is fully secluded with a large pool and spa area. At night we would relax in the spa bbq dinner listen to music and look out at the beautiful deserts of Aruba. During the day the town had so much to offer. The nice clean beaches were one of our favorite spots. The amenities of this property had much more to offer than we had imagined. We felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time we were there. We would highly recommend this beautiful property for families with children of all ages as well as quite couples getaways. We hope to return to this beautiful location in the near future this time bringing some family and friends to share the beauty and warmth this property has to offer.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
Owner response: This was really a very nice review that you gave us - much more than I had expected! Now you are the BEST! Thanks!

My wife and I have always liked to travel. We had been to Aruba several times and loved it every time. We were staying in the Marriott Ocean Club in the Spring '09 and decided to extend our stay. This house was a perfect complement to the resort stay and was less than 5 minutes from the Marriott. Having three kids, it was great to have a spacious home for them to spread out a bit, plus a beautiful, private yard with a great pool and hot tub. I don't think the pictures come close to doing the house or property justice. Each morning we would have our coffee and breakfast sitting on the patio which overlooked the secluded, peaceful desert- extraordinally relaxing. Our kids would spend a few hours playing in the pool, then we would head out. The beaches in Aruba are public, and again just a few minutes away. It was great to have the option of having meals at the house or taking a $5 cab ride to any of the high end restaurants located within a few miles. This house is obviously only a few years old, and meticulously maintained. It was also nice to know that the property manager (who was extremely pleasant and helpful) lived just down the block and offered to be of assistance at any time if the need arose. We never had any need to call him as the place was wonderful and our family had a blast. We are heading back to Aruba this Spring and are fortunate enough to be staying in the same house. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the best of bost worlds- plenty of space and privacy, coupled with easy access to the beautiful beaches, restaurants and nightlife Aruba offers!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you both so much for your review - it was perfectly put and more than I expected. You're both great!

I needed a getaway, and on a friends suggestion I stayed on this property. I was actually by myself and I loved the seclusion and the very private back yard and pool. The pictures do not do the back area justice. I love the desert and the cactus are very numerous, tall and beautiful from the back yard. The pool was very well maintained and comfortable. The location is perfect because you have very short drives to the beach, shopping, gambling and exploring. Living quarters were wonderfully comfortable, clean and modern. I hated to leave and it was so much more comfortable and private than a hotel.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank Rick - so appreciate you taking the time to do this - xx's Mel

My wife and I vacationed in Aruba in February of 2008 staying at a top hotel and we loved Aruba. We got a chance to go back a year later and wanted to $tretch things a little further so we could stay a little longer and we stayed at this house on a friends suggestion. WOW, it is the perfect house for vacationing, I am a firefighter and can attest to the condition and safety of this place. It looks great from the front, but the inside(modern and fresh) and backyard must be seen as my description may not do it enough justice. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails either on the back patio, by the pool, or in the hot tub because the views of the sunrises & sunsets are unobstructed and they are AWESOME! The back yard was quite private and very romantic as well. There was a list with suggestions such as the best grocery store(we grilled out and baked in) and some really great restaurant suggestions(we found ourselves outside each morning walking in the area to try to be fit for that nights dinning). My wife and I went back in May of 2010, third stay on the island, second time at this rental, and each time the place was clean and was well maintained. Besides staying here, try the lamb chops at Chalet-Suisse, the duck at Madame Jeanette's, the bone-in rib-eye at El Goucho, the Keshi-Yena at Papiamento, the veal osso bucco at Pincho's(it has me ruined as I have never had better), Passions on the Beach had several really tasty seafood dishes as well. I'll stop there except for adding that the Ling & Sons grocery store that was suggested, has fresh veggies, quality meat, & every kind of spirit you could want. This property was in very reasonable driving(not to mention cab) distances from the best of the best Aruba has to offer. Did I mention the beaches!*****Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thanks so much Farmer Tim ~ You moooooved me so with your kind words! love ya lots, Mel

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: We love to travel to sunny spots around the world. Living where we get snow takes its toll on us by the end of January - so we have to get away. It's wonderful being just 4 hours from Aruba to defrost. We love that we can bring our little Morkie with us and he can go with us for the day at Eagle Beach. We're empty nesters now and our new addition to the family, Ozzy, adds so much fun to our runs along the beach.
Why the Owner Chose Rooi Santo:
We purchased this newly constructed home due to the privacy of the backyard. With no one able to construct behind us and the shaded pool area - it's perfect in so many ways for our lifestyle. Aruba offers amazing sunsets, clean beaches and fantastic restaurants. But the warm friendly people on Aruba made the decision so easy for taking the plunge in purchasing there.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love the relaxed atmosphere of being at our home. The sounds of the many birds nesting in the cactus. The beautiful pink sky at sunset reflecting in the pool. Sipping wine on the patio and listening to the sounds of our wind chimes on those breezy evenings. It's the perfect setting to disconnect from the hectic pace back in the States.
