Hierbabuena is our property that we built because we fell in love with the place.It is situated in a valley between the cordillera de los Andes and the Precordillera, where the sky at night is incredibly iluminated with stars.Sunsets are spectacular, just sit in the gallery and watch the sun hidind behind the mountains ,is a unique view,no money can buy this.
There are a lot of activities to do in Barreal: from treckink,horseriding,climbing,excursions to the Cordillera to see the cave paintings,to visit the famous Astronomical Observatoy El Leoncito, or take a ride in wind cars and buggy kytes at the Pampa del Leoncito,an incredible place with a strange dry clay surface.Also you can go rafting or fishing at the Rio los Patos (just a 100 mts from the house).
Everyone that visit Barreal promise themselves to come back someday.

Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: Oscar and me, Susana, are the owners of Hierbabuena.We go there every weekend that is not rented, we actually live in San Juan city, 2 and a half hours by car.We start enjoying the moment we get in the car, the landscape of the road is amazing too.We have 3 kids, and 2 grandsons that really love going there.So frequently we go the whole family together and have a really good time.
Why the Owner Chose Barreal:
You can get to Barreal from Mendoza or form San Juan. The distances are quit similar, 230
kms and both landscapes have their charm.
