Recently refurnished and re-carpeted, this four bedroom home, including two master bedrooms and a chef’s kitchen, provides the perfect setting for a family vacation. Enjoy breakfast on the second floor terrace overlooking the lake, often while watching pelicans diving for fish. Sip a glass of wine while enjoying views in a screened-in large lanai with an extra-large hot tub, a summer kitchen and outdoor grill designed for entertainment. Your children will love exploring the fenced back yard.
Arrive to find that this stress-free vacation unfolds all on its own. Totally private, with riveting water views, tropical plants and palms, your festive mood will really take flight. There is plenty of parking in the 2-car garage and wide driveway, next to which a charming staircase leads to the covered front door.
The second floor is the main living area featuring soaring ceilings with ceiling fans. Its expansive windows and glass doors provide panoramic views of the lake from every room. The second floor living room, newly refurnished in cool colors, includes a new 50” HD LCD TV. You will love the amazing lake views from this beautiful room and its spacious terrace. A second family room on the first floor includes a large HDTV and allows children to have all the space they need for imaginative play. This room opens to the screened-in lanai, spa, and summer kitchen allowing great indoor-outdoor entertaining.
The gourmet chef’s kitchen insists that, while here, you’ll live to eat. Open to the rest of the living area, the kitchen really is the heart of this home - a natural gathering point with great views of the lake. It invites and accommodates everyone. Huge granite counters wrap around to face both the living and dining areas. There’s even a tri-vection oven (for regular, convection and speed heat), plus stainless steel appliances and a large custom pantry - everything you need. A massive breakfast bar is one place to eat, while the formal dining table seats eight. Both the screened lanai and 2nd-floor terrace have dining tables.
Sand Castle’s four bedrooms plus a queen sleeper sofa in the second family room accommodate up to 12 guests. Wake up to a gorgeous view of the lake in the newly refurnished master suite with its 37“ HD LCD TV, custom closet, and huge en suite bathroom with fine cabinetry. A generously sized glass shower and jacuzzi-style soaking tub are all yours to enjoy. Relax and indulge yourself – what luxury!
Bedroom 2 is a second master bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. It features a 32” HD LCD TV and is ideal for adults or teenagers in your party. The third bedroom is perfect for kids and features two wooden framed bunk beds with 4 single beds and comfortable finishings including a 32” HD LCD TV for their enjoyment. This bedroom has its own connection to the third full bathroom. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and includes a 32” HD LCD TV. The home has a spacious laundry room with a washer, dryer, sink, and iron and ironing board.
This house is conditionally pet friendly. Well behaved dogs under 25 pounds considered.
Life in a private home within a gated resort will take no getting used to at all. Kids and adults alike will go crazy for two large heated pools. One, a heated lap pool, is oceanfront and the second heated pool, for families, has a zero-slope entrance for paddling and a water play area. We are also only a 1 1/2 hour drive to Orlando and Disney World/Universal/Sea World as well as 1 1/2 hour to the Kennedy Space Center. Our rental is also a short car ride to Ponte Vedra Beach and PGA golf Course and TPC as well as Jacksonville with the brand new St John's Town Center (with a Costco), Avenue Mall and River Front Arcade. There is also a minor league baseball team and a professional football team and stadium.
