When looking for a place to get away, this year we decided on a stay-cation here in beautiful San Diego, and there is no better place than the beach! The property was very nice... perfectly appointed for a beach getaway, and had everything we needed for the week's stay. (Minus groceries of course, but with so many great restaurants close by, we didn't need much.) It was very clean and well maintained, and probably would have mistaken it for a vacation rental. My favorite part of the vacation was waking up in the morning to a beautiful glass looking ocean, and sitting on the deck with my coffee contemplating what we were going to do that day. And my second favorite part was sitting on the deck next to the firepit before bed and staring at the bright stars over the black ocean - like book-ends to each wonderful day. Not only would I recommend the property to friends and relatives, so would my four year old - who constantly talks about "the beach house" as if it were a second home, and wants to go back. Whether you are from around here or not, this property is definitely the best of what San Diego has to offer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
