My friends and I went on a weekend trip to Wolf Creek Ski Resort and we stayed with Evelyn and Tom, and they were absolutely wonderful! They provided dinner AND breakfast! We made our own pizzas and had an amazing breakfast as well! The ranch was beautiful! And the home was JAW DROPPING! Thank you all so much! we'll definitely be back!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We were a couple traveling on a ski trip and upon searching places to stay we were torn between convenience of closeness to ski resort or a unique experience. This year we decided to try a Bed and Breakfast. To our discovery of this place, we were amazed at the location, snuggled away in a remote area next to the forest. Our stay here was nothing but amazing. The house is georgeous, with all the amenities to relax after a long day of sking or hiking. The host was amazing, we were treated like family. We truly felt we were at home. When we first arrived we thought the ranch was to far to the ski resort but after seeing how caring they were we just didn't want to leave. We have never been treated with the kindness and hopitality that Elk Trace Ranch has to offer. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and we were also offered a late night snack with drinks. One of the days we were there one of us did not want to ski so the host took to me to other places so i was not stuck in the house all day. Overall this Bed and Breakfast is a place we will continue to come back whenever we are in the area. They were just so great and we couldnt have asked for better people!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About: Tom Jones graduated from the Air Force Academy and rising to the rank of Lt. Col. Having traveled over much of the world, Tom and his wife Evelyn fell in love with the ranch and Pagosa Springs many years ago and have devoted enormous amount of time and love making the ranch an amazing place.
Why Pagosa Springs:
The incredible beauty of Pagosa Springs made it an easy decision to make this their home. The ranch has amazing views of Pagosa Peak.
The Unique Benefits at this Bed And Breakfast:
Quiet evenings on the large wraparound porch, soaking up the incredible views, the wildlife, the horses, make it a place you want to return to time after time. Long walks around the ranch, sitting on the bench at the private pond, nestled under massive pine trees are idyllic.
