Our track team was welcomed to stay at the spacious house with easy walking distance from Hayward Field. It was quiet, secluded and clean. The homeowner was very generous by allowing our tean of 10 to stay there for the weekend and there was plenty of room for all. I highly recommend this house and hope to use it again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property was definitely in a very peaceful location and despite being there during one of the hottest weekends on record, it remained relatively cool and comfortable. I loved that it was fairly close to a lot of the places I was visiting and was impressed at how roomy it was. My whole family was able to meet there and get themselves arranged for some catching up. I also loved the fact that pets were welcome as leaving dogs at home can really be a challenge. The only minor gripe I have (which could be major, depending on your situation) was that we had problems both gaining entry when we first arrived and finding the portable mattresses once we finally got in. Calls to the owner went unanswered until the next day so we just had to get creative in our solutions in the mean time. That said, all in all, this was a very comfortable place to stay while in Eugene and I'd definitely consider it again next time I visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children.

Seven of us stayed so comfortably at this house, and the decks and surrounding huge trees added to the charm! We stayed three nights, and this house had all we needed to enjoy our stay. I especially liked the comfortable beds and roomy living areas. The driveway is a bit of a trick to navigate, but that's what you get for a hillside view. Otherwise, the only drawback I can think of would be that the stairs up to the house and the upstairs bedrooms are not suitable for the senior travelers. We had a really great time in Eugene, and this house added so much to that! Great house, great location!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Think of a tree house and natural vegetation and you will be surrounded by one of the best neighborhoods in Eugene. Thank you for the review. With this new property listing. We are doing all we can to accommodate the special needs of every guest. But mobility challenges are items I did not include in my listing as something to reconsider. I will include that in the features. Thank you for your feedback. Sara Donahue

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2002
About the owner: Tina is my daughter and I live in the South Eugene Hills and have this second home to offer for vacationers who are traveling and want a great spot to hang out.
Why the Owner Chose Eugene:
We lived in the home for many years, since 2002, we decided to downsize and move into a smaller home and continue to rent this one to vacationers.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Havng Hendricks Park within blocks of sweet residential moss lined paths and having the U of O at the bottom of the hill were two landmarks we are proud to be in between.
