Nestled in a serene area of Sandy Bay in Roatan, Pelican Casa is a rare escape from the ordinary.

One of the highlights of this location is the use of the uniquely designed, multifunctional, multilevel dock. You can choose any one of the many water activities accessible directly from the dock, or just sit and relax while you look out over the breathtakingly beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
The dock is private and only available for use by visitors of Pelican Casa and it two sister homes. During your stay at this beachfront treasure, you can launch a kayak directly from the dock, or merely step right down into the warm, crystal clear water for an enjoyable swim. Snorkeling, which is available directly in front of Pelican Casa, is a must, as Roatan’s stunning reefs offer visitors overwhelmingly incredible views. Marvel over the neon-blue and yellow parrotfish, green eels, giant lobsters, and the multiple color variations of coral and sea sponges.
After a full afternoon of splashing in the sea, enjoy a restful interlude in one of the various lounging spots on the lower level of the dock. Grab a quick nap in one of our shaded hammocks, or bask in the sun as you relax in a rope swing or while lying directly on the dock. Unwind as you take in the brilliantly beautiful afternoon sunset from the dock’s second level. Sit back and enjoy the sites from either the large sitting area with built-in table and chairs, or steal away into the nearly concealed chase lounge section of the dock, and enjoy a romantic sunset for two.
If you crave more adventurous water activities, we can organize practically anything you can imagine. Kayaks and snorkel gear is available for free. We also have our own boat operation and can take you diving, snorkeling or fishing (any type, any level) on our 42' Hatteras. We can also take you for an island tour, sunset cruise, dinner cruise, nighttime offshore star gazing trip and much more. We can even set you up for bone fishing or canoe fishing (the traditional island way). All of this, and we offer pick-up and drop-off directly from the dock at Pelican Casa.
Roatan has many spectacular land and sea sites and we can help you organize any other desired activities with our trusted partners here on the island. However, if you’re interested in white water rafting or perhaps a trip to see the Copan Ruins, we can also assist you with travel arrangements on Honduras’ mainland.
Pelican Casa is located on one of the most beautifully maintained beaches in the area. We are just a short drive from the airport, or to any one of the favorite spots located on the island, such as West End or West Bay Beach.

WOW! The Turtle Casa is the place to be! My husband and I were there not long ago and truly enjoyed our first vacation of many to come in the Turtle House on the island of Roatan. The rental was amazing ... well-equipped kitchen; large, comfy beds; a dock that is a watersports person’s dream with multi-level platforms containing hammocks, lounge chairs, a rope swing and more; and a spectacular view of the gorgeous Caribbean sea. The owner, Mike, has a few boats for rent - ranging from a beautiful 1960’s 48-foot Hatteras to a smaller sports boat. Mike was a very skilled boat captain and perhaps an even better guide. He knew all of the best places to eat on the island, showed us great snorkeling spots (which are not in short supply on this island), and even took us out fishing for our dinner that included the tuna Mike reeled in for us. Could life get any better??!! The condo is located in a quiet part of the island with a nearly private beach, but it’s not too far from the grocery story, various restaurants and the nightlife in a place called West End. We look forward to returning next year and the next year and the next year… Thanks, Mike, for sharing your lovely place, the great company and making the vacation planning so easy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This amazing beach home was immaculate and has all the amenities needed for a getaway vacation. The private dock was especially enjoyable for snorkeling, swimming and kayaking in the clear turquoise waters. The owners were more than accomodating and I would highly recommend renting from them. This home is truly a treasure on the beautiful island of Roatan.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
