This completely renovated one-bedroom apartment in a quiet street just next to the Efiffel Tower, retains the charm of traditional Paris. With period wooden floors, a marble fireplace and tall French windows, the apartment is bright, spacious, and authentic all at the same time.

The living and dining room is a large room with a tall French windows letting the light flood in. As you enter the room is the seating area with a modern sofa that folds out to become an extra queen sized bed. On your left is the fully-equipped open kitchen with contrasting light and dark units, and the dining area featuring a smart wooden dining table and chairs that comfortably seats six people.

The bedroom is calm and peaceful with a good-quality queen sized bed, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day out visiting the sights. The modern bathroom is fitted with a powerful shower attachment. The apartment looks out on to typical Parisian buildings with rooftops, flowering balconies and chimneys and of cousre a little touch of the Eifel Tower.

This upscale neighborhood, overlooked by the Eiffel Tower, and with its airy, wide open avenues and boulevards, contains some of the most beautiful architecture in Paris. The Place du Trocadero offers one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower. Be sure to go there at night when thousands of twinkling lights sparkle at the top of every hour and the rotating searchlight crosses the Paris night sky. There are lots of museums and monuments to visit besides the Eiffel Tower and the focal point of the area is the pedestrian rue Cler market, one of Paris’ best street markets and a true foody’s paradise. The adjoining streets, including rue Saint Dominique, are lined with great shops and a bewildering array of deliciously tempting restaurants and cafés.

This apartment was exactly as described. It is in a fantastic location near restaurants, very nice grocery store, twice weekly local market, shopping and the 6,8 & 10 metro lines, but on a quite side street. The apartment was very comfortable, even the bed was great. It is very well kept and well stocked with everything you could want including a French press for your morning coffee. My husband and I enjoy Paris so much that we talked about getting our own apartment and renting it when we were not in town, then we realized that we could just stay here again next time. We would not even look for any other place. When we arrived, Richard was there to greet us and give a quick rundown of how things worked and left a bottle of wine to welcome us. Thank you. We have rented other places in the past and have been disappointed when we arrived, not this time! You will not be disappointed with this place.

Our family (girls aged 10 and 15) enjoyed 6 wonderful days here in July. The apartment was a fabulous base for the four of us to see Paris as we hoped. It was very well located, only one block from the metro, shopping, restaurants and street market (2 x per week). The Eiffel Tower is a short stroll away (10 minutes). The apartment itself has everything you need, with a compact but very servicable kitchen, great washing machine and as reported by all, really comfortable beds. We enjoyed the comforts of a home away from home, and enjoyed Paris more like locals than a hotel experience offers. Great bread store at end of the block, fabulous kebabs and Gyros around the corner, and a really great open air market. I highly recommend this property, and hope to stay again. Free phone and good wifi, and some english TV (but thankfully not too much choice!)

My two daughters and I stayed here for 6 nights. Jean-Claude was very easy to work with before and during our stay. Lovely property, perfect location. Such a nice selection of amenities. The best convertible sofa bed I have ever slept on. The bed in the bedroom was great too. I hope to stay here again.

Oh my goodness! This is definately a hidden treasure. We were there September 2011 and loved every minute in this apartment. Having never traveled to Europe before this was an amazing start. So convient to Metro, good restaurants, cute shops. We felt extremely safe walking the area and found that we could get anywhere in Paris from this great location. The owner is amazing to work with. Just to give him a heads up we are looking at booking a month next time. Having a washing machine was a blessing. Don't need to pack as much making travel easier as well. Great value for an amazing location. Just made us fall in love with Paris even more!

My family of three loved this apartment. Very conveniently located just one block from the Metro, two blocks from the park adjacent to the Eiffel Tower and all of Paris before you! The apartment is located on a quiet street. Everything in the apartment is new and works great. The beds are large and comfortable - even the fold out was new, large and comfortable. We loved our 7 night stay. Jean-Claude and Richard are the perfect hosts. Booking was a breeze! You'll love it.

Can't recommend this place highly enough! Located on an upper floor in a gorgeous old building- classic French architecture complete with wrought iron railings and little balcony, original beautiful 8 foot high windows, etc., and yet completely renovated inside - super comfy leather couch, fantastical high quality beds - even the pull out bed was better than my own "real" mattress at home! - full kitchen - includes even a washer and dishwasher, loads of closet space, elevator, modern bathroom, and to boot it's a VERY quiet building. The location is absolutely perfect. This is a small, quiet side street only one block from a metro stop with 3 intersecting lines (lines 6, 8 and 10 - incredibly convenient for exploring the city), a grocery store (Monoprix), pharmacy, several sidewalk cafes and little restaurants - sushi, creperies, and a fantastic Indian restaurant (called Le Palais de Raja-Maharaja) where we ate twice, located just one block behind the building (on rue d'Ouessant). Best of all the apartment is NOT in a touristy location - this is where locals hang out and work and live and shop, yet you are 4 blocks away from the Eiffel Tower. There is even a gorgeous old church 2 blocks behind the building - Saint Leon's - which has lovely chiming church bells ringing at various times of day (though never too early, so you won't be woken up). On Sunday and Wednesday, just one block away, there is a truly staggering outdoor food market located beneath the Grenelle elevated train tracks which is not to be missed. (BTW you never hear the trains - extraordinarily quiet compared with those in the States). We absolutely loved this place and recommend it to those who want to live like a Parisien, among Parisiens, and not be overrun by tourists, be able to come back to a quiet place after a tiring day of sight seeing, yet be just a short walk or metro ride away from it all. We would definitely return.

We were in Paris for a business trip, but had to add a few days for fun. This beautiful, light-filled apartment was absolutely perfect for both purposes. The location was close (walking distance) to our meetings at UNESCO, but also to the Eiffel Tower, beautiful markets and loads of brasseries. Upon entering, we were welcomed with pastries and a bottle of wine. The apartment was bright, clean, calming and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed fresh coffee on the balcony in the mornings with pastries purchased from local boulangeries. Jean-Claude provided useful guidebooks as well as insightful tips and advice for where to eat and what to do. We felt practically local. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

My family and I stayed in the apartment for a week. It was wonderful, comfortable, clean and located very close to the metro. It is a 5 minute walk to the main park where the eiffel tower is. It is not as touristy as many parts of Paris which is nice if you want to try and experience the city as a Parisian does. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was small but functional and there is even a washing machine and dishwasher. It is definitely the way to go if you want to have some meals at home and is ideal for families. Jean-Claude and his son in law Richard were very helpful and available as well if any problems come up.

This beautiful apartment has everything you would want for your stay in Paris. It is very clean, comfortable and has modern features. The surrounding area is quiet, yet convenient. The subway and lovely cafes are within minutes of the apartment. About 1 block away there is an amazing open air market on Rue de Grenelle which operates on Sunday and Wednesday. This diverse and large market is not to be missed. Here you shop with the Parisians. Jean-Claude's son-in-law, Richard was available to help us out as we settled into our temporary residence. Thank you, Jean-Claude for the wine and fresh fruit. We look forward to returning again.
