  What a BEAUTIFUL home! The pristine beauty of this cabin to fit the natural beauty of the setting in which it sits was breathtaking. We had 4 families enjoy this cabin for 4 days and felt like all we needed was the clothes on our back. However, we put the Chef's Kitchen to great use by cooking all of our meals with ease (i want a new gas range in my house)!! Although we missed the natural snow, we will try to plan better next time and spend more days to hit the local falls, views, and antiques! We are so glad we picked THIS cabin and can't wait to plan another trip!!

  Immaculate home and beautifully furnished, with many upgrades and amenities, beautiful balconies, comfortable beds, soft sheets, fully stocked kitchens, 2 living areas, and a lovely bottle of wine to boot. Our family enjoyed every minute of it and we thank you Ed and Kathy!!!!! The Fall colors were breathtaking. Thanks for sharing it with us. The photos were a perfect reflection of your property.

  Our family vacation was awesome. We stayed a week with our grown children and grandchildren. This cabin is fantastic and has everything you could possibly want or need. The view is spectacular and at night the stars seem so close. Our grandson, McCray, wants to take his telescope next trip. We did some fishing on Whisper Lake and Lake Fairfield. Swimming every day and of course the guys were at the exercise gym each morning. Went tubing at Lake Glenville and saw the three waterfalls on the lake. Visited three other waterfalls in the area and plan to see more next trip. Shopping in Cashiers and Highlands was fun. It was so nice to cook dinner and sit on the porch each evening. We did a lot, had a great time, but still relaxed. This cabin is very CLEAN, well kept, and has the best kitchen I've ever seen. Thank you Ed and Kathy for sharing your wonderful cabin.   My family just recently came back from spending 2 weeks at Ed and Kathy's mountain cabin. All I can say is WOW!!!! The pictures do not do it justice. This house had everything one could want on their vacation, plenty of living space, amazing views, every known kitchen essential, beautiful sheets and towels. Plus the most comfortable beds around!!! The master bathroom is amazing that I want the same for myself at home. The house was vey clean and well maintained. It is 1 of 3 houses on the end of the street within a cul de sac. Our kids, ages 14, 12 and 10 enjoyed having their very own living space in the lower level and us parents were very happy to enjoy the upstairs to ourselves at times. The amenities at the Sapphire Valley Resort were very helpful for enjoying a lot of time on Lake Fairfield, swimming, boating, sun catching and trail walking. The golf at the public course is so nice, it's hard to believe that it's not a private club, great vistas. Our 14 year old used most of the kitchen gadgets to bake us things that she couldn't do in our own house, due to Ed and Kathy's wide array of baking essentials. We visited downtown Cashiers, Highlands and Asheville. Dined at the Sapphire Valley Brew Company, Cornacopia (amazing food) and Gamekeeper's Tavern (recommend the Braised Ribs). We also visited Whitewater Stables for horseback riding, Nantahala River for Ziplining and Whitewater Rafting, Earthshine for more ziplining (although we were sad to find out that they are closing at the end of November), Bear Tracks for tubing down the French Broad River (best tubes around), plenty of nearby waterfalls (although Dry Falls is closed for viewing due to the construction of a new parking lot), and the Biltmore House and Winery.   We had 5 adults and 4 kids in this house for 4th of July week, and we all had a great time! The kids loved the downstairs area with the giant TV. Fireworks were great on it. There was plenty of room for all of us at the dining room table, and on the porch. What a view! The kitchens were nicely equipped, and we were happy to find plenty of everything needed for cooking large family dinners while we were there. We plant to go back next year!

  We had a reunion of old friends who traveled from FL, VA, and GA to spend time together at this beautiful cabin. This place is awesome! It was perfect for us. Plenty of space, 2 gourmet kitchens and 2 huge decks overlooking the mountains. We had brunch in Cashiers and shopped in Highlands. However, most of our time was spent at the cabin enjoying the view, the company of friends and cooking in the fabulous kitchen. I would recommend this cabin for families or adults. It truely is a wonderful place. The owner was most helpful. Anyone looking for a real treat, this is the place to go!

  Our family stayed in this wonderful cabin the week after Christmas this past year. There were seven adults and four grandkids, and the house was perfect for all of us. It is a beautiful home which the pictures on the website just barely capture. We have rented 20 plus cabins over the years in this area and this was by far the best ever. The house had every possible amenity, and was so well supplied with utensils, games, movies, maps of the area, and brochures and menus from the area as well. The master bathroom even had a heated tile floor, and towel warmers! I'm not sure when the home was built but it seemed as though it was brand new. Although it was a bit too cold to enjoy coffee on one of the decks, the view was magnificant over the distant valley. There are ski and tubing slopes nearby in the winter and plenty of golf courses and tennis in warmer months. The nearby village of Cashiers has some nice shops and restaurants - highly recommend Chester's Chicken at the Exon station and Buck's Coffee. The Sapphire Brewing Restaurant was also very good, with great pizzas and appetizers. Asheville is an easy hour or so drive if you need some city life. I would highly recommend this property to all of our friends and family.

  Our family stayed here over an extended fourth of July weekend and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen couldn't have been better equipped. We loved the views and had plenty to do in the surrounding areas. The house was luxurious and had everything you could possibly need for a fun vacation. The kids loved the giant television and the parents even used the exercise bike. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back.

  Our family vacation that included my adult sons, daughters, and grandchildren could not have been better. This beautifully built and accessorized luxury cabin accommodated our family comfortably. The owners seem to go out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed in their home. My wife fell in love with the tree lined views of this spectacular mountain retreat. There was plenty of room for our entire family to spread out. The area attractions gave us many options to complete our fun filled week. We will have lifelong memorable moments to refect on from our stay. If you want to get away amongst some of the most beautiful mountian views and have the comfort of a luxury accommodation this is the place.

  My wife and I and another couple enjoyed an amazing week at this luxury log cabin! We've stayed in many cabins throughout the years and this was the nicest and most luxurious and came with the most amazing view of the valley from the spacious back porch! The cabin is super spacious and has a great open floor plan that is well decorated and has plenty of amenities including fireplaces, a gorgeous kitchen and dining area, and huge TV and bar/kitchen downstairs. This cabin was in perfect condition, super clean, and all utilities and appliances were working properly. The cabin was easy to access (no crazy steep driveways) and while it was still very private, it was convenient to the neighboring towns. Aside from cozying up in this amazing cabin, we did lots of hiking, enjoyed white water rafting, and even ziplining. We can’t wait to go back!!
