  My friends and I had a girl's weekend getaway and this was the PERFECT stay. The home is beautiful and there are plenty of bathrooms for everyone. That's important for the ladies. :) Everyone had a nice place to sleep. The rooms were very cozy and nicely decorated. There was tons of living space. The home is just beautiful and they have all the hospitality you need to host a great weekend. The next time I visit Monterey, I'm renting this beautiful home. Wonderful people to work with too. I only have positive things to say and hope to come back again.

  We stayed over mother's day weekend and had a great time in this house. The interior is spacious and well-appointed, and there is a large patio area between the main house and the detached tap room - great for BBQing and using the firepit at night. Within walking distance to the ocean (1 to 2 blocks), Nob Hill Foods grocery store (3 or 4 blocks), and the Aquarium (1/2 mile or so), so a great location. Also there are many really nice places to sit and look at the ocean view/sunset within the house and the ipod docks in the main house and tap room were nice for listening to music. There is not much more usable outdoor space on the property besides the patio and a small lawn in front, but the ocean trail is so close that it wasn't really an issue for us. Only slight complaints were some faulty doorknobs and locks that should be fixed, and that there was no firewood or charcoal provided (but was easy enough to obtain from the grocery store just down the street). Overall, a great stay and very accommodating host.

  An extremely beautiful home. It is well decorated and has comfortable beds! Lots of space and amenities were included. The location is terrific! The bathrooms are updated, spacious and beautiful, but just a heads up if you are traveling with small children there is no bathtub. The yard is very accommodating for adult enjoyment, however they yard is not enclosed for child safety. With that being said, I highly recommend this home.

  What a beautiful home and my family had an amazing time. This house is located in such a perfect location. Everything is within walking distance. The owner's were super helpful and answered any questions right away. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a big house.

  We recently spent 2 nights here with two families with young kids. It was our home base to visit the Aquarium, as well as Big Sur & Carmel. Being able to walk to the Aquarium is really wonderful! The house itself it very big and very thoughtfully appointed. We had plenty of space, comfy beds and lots of room to accommodate everyone for meals. We'd happily return!

  Amazing home with fabulous views, great for family reunion! Many separate spaces to relax and spread out. I loved the enclosed front porch and the sunny breakfast room. The little kids loved the huge den for watching movies or playing games, the adults loved the outside separate "man cave" for football playoffs and late night poker. Easy walk along water to Aquarium. Huge dining room table. Wonderful!

  This is an ideal house to take in the area. The location could not be better- ocean views, easy walking to all the sights and restaurants. We never needed the car. The house itself is immaculate and comfortable, easy to fill with the entire family but also comfortable with a smaller group- plenty of space for everyone to spread out and make their own. Lots of reading nooks, TV screening areas. The amenities are top notch and match a luxury hotel stay. The first day I was already trying to figure out when we could come back!

  The facilities in this property are really exceptional. TVs in each bedroom, completely renovated bathrooms and kitchen with first-rate appliances, etc. The location is really unbelievable, as it's a 20 min stroll to the beach in one direction, and 20 min stroll into downtown Monterey and the aquarium in the other. There is also a separate small cottage-room in the back that the kkids loved. This is probably the most well appointed rental property we've ever rented.

  We have relatives in Pacific Grove but needed more space to bring other family members for a family vacation. We had three couples and one child and invited our local relatives for meals and together time and this house was perfect. More room than we needed actually, but nice to be able to spread out. It is very close to the aquarium, one block to the shoreline walk/bike path, five minute walk to Lover's Point, and a short drive to all the other PG/Monterey/Carmel sites. Wonderful ocean views from many rooms. Fish store, restaurants, super market all within walking distance too. Oh, and even plenty of off-street parking. The rooms are large, beds comfortable, kitchen well appointed, dining room seats ten, many places to hang out together or be alone. The room with two child's beds was sweet, and the steam shower was really a treat. It was a little cold to eat on the patio in early January, but I can imagine other months it would be a great place to eat and sit in the sun. We didn't use the large separate recreation room, but it would be great for a sports viewing group. The agent/manager, Casey, was a treat to deal with, excellent and prompt communication throughout. We would love to stay here again.

  Recently stayed for several nights at this fabulous property in Pacific Grove. This wonderful home was well equipped, clean, had beautiful decor and felt homey! The owners thought of everything! Just the get-away we needed! So many fun things to do - the home has an additional game room, BBQ and is within walking distance to Cannery Row with fantastic restaurants, fun shops and a fun night scene. Rented bicycles downtown and rode the trails to Fort Ord Dunes... great access to healthy activities! Drove to Carmel on the 17-mile drive - scenery was breathtaking! Take me back here again!
