Priest Lake Idaho is one of the most beautiful under used lakes in the USA. It is located in the very remote tip of North Idaho. Our guests tell us they have never heard such quietness at night or seen more stars in the sky any where else on earth.
This Priest Lake home located on the shore of Outlet Bay on the southern end of the lake, provides the perfect setting and atmosphere for that special family vacation any time of the year. Special features include a boat slip, pristine white sandy beach, a swim are with swim dock, fire pit, magnificent views, and deck. This home is close to area resorts and restaurants. It has direct access to hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails. Abundant wildlife viewing includes moose, elk, bald eagle, and mountain caribou. And plenty of Huckleberry picking!
There is superb fishing; and fishing charters are available. Gourmet dining, snowmobile, watercraft, and PWC rentals are available at nearby resorts. Most of our guests think summer is the greatest time here. One of the best kept secrets is the winter! There are over 400 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.("New" 25 mile groomed trail to Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort in Sandpoint!) Strategically placed warming cabins are scattered throughout the trails. Thousands of acres of untouched powder, pristine mountain peaks and bowls make for some of the best snowmobiling in the entire U.S.A. If you are an avid snowmobiler and haven't been here you're missing out!

Year Purchased: 1997
About the owner: We purchased this unique property in 1997. The building used to be a restaurant and bar. There are plenty of stories of the good times had by the long time visitors and residents of the area. We transformed the building into 4 very different spaces. There are 3 main floor units and one upstairs unit. The other units have been sold to friends as far away as Kansas.
Why the Owner Chose Outlet Bay:
My grandparents built a cabin on leased land back in the '40's(at that time leases were for 99 years and very reasonable). After the cabin was sold, we had many family reunions on the lake (and still do). Some family have been lucky to purchase cabins of their own.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Winter time is so quiet and beautiful. Snowmobiling and coming back to sit in front of the warm fire is one of my favorites. Summertime is wonderful! Two steps and I'm sunning on the sandy beach.
