The PS Downtown Condo is the perfect cosmopolitan get-away for a couple or single person. Relax and rejuvenate in a mid-century modern oasis in downtown Palm Springs. This condominium features a beautifully landscaped courtyard pool and spa area amidst breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by the unique architecture of this magnificent gem built in the 1960s. Legend has it that Frank Sinatra and members of the Kennedy clan have vacationed at this hip and swanky Palm Springs address, with The Movie Colony nearby.
It is fully furnished with designer black leather and chrome, mid-century/modern furniture. The elegant dining area can easily accommodate six or up to eight diners, with a large bar/serving area alongside. The television is a 42” Plasma HDTV with a home theater that includes an internet-connected Blu-ray player. The bedroom features a queen-size bed, and the full-size convertible futon sofa is in the living room. Guests with laptop computers will enjoy free high-speed wireless internet access. The immense pool and 12-person spa are surrounded by an expansive deck, with chaises lounges, tables and chairs. The relatively few number of guests poolside at any given time make for quiet, tranquil basking in the sun and cooling off in the water. Adjacent to the pool area are a built-in gas grilling area, laundry room, workout room with cardio-equipment and weights, and men and women’s saunas. Please enjoy smoking outside only.
Leave you car in your reserved, secure subterranean parking space, and take the elevator directly to your unit. A block away, you’ll find first class shopping boutiques and fine dining along dynamic Palm Canyon Drive. Stroll two blocks South and you’re at the front door of the new Palm Springs Spa Casino. The Casino’s courtesy shuttle can be caught across the street, and will take you to the center of town at Tahquitz Canyon Way. Two blocks further East of the Spa Casino situates you at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Tennis courts are usually available at Ruth Hardy Park, just a few blocks away. The aerial tram to the top of Mount San Jacinto, the Agua Caliente Casino, hiking and rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park, and world-class golf courses are just minutes away by car.
