Lovely remodeled condo located on gorgeous Sanibel Island with full use of owner amenities. Bikes, free wifi, access to fully stocked storage unit and linen service is included as well as beach towels are provided to guests. Brand New Lanai furniture from Pier 1.

This property has been newly remodeled and redecorated with paint, crown molding, new HVAC, new plumbing, faucets, showerheads, granite counter-tops, various furnishings from Sanibel Home Furnishings, nice artwork, new bedding and decorative rugs along with new designer furniture throughout. The property also provides renters the use of the personal storage unit that contains 6 bikes and helmets with alley cat along with any beach item that you can imagine such as chairs, umbrellas, sporting equipment, water shoes, rafts, boogie boards, beach towels and toys. Also a linen company provides towels and bed linens. Lastly, we have provided a three-ring binder in the condo with great information on restaurants, entertainment, excursions and things that we enjoy doing on Sanibel and Captiva.                             Have stayed in this condo three different times. It is lovely and in a great location on the Island.

                            Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

                            The condo complex is nice, good location, nice beach, nice pool, and management group's staff were professional and covered everything. The condo has all you would need and more. The pictures do not show how nice and bright this condo is inside. The beds are comfortable, plenty of seating for meals, everything is in good working order, a well stocked kitchen, and more extras than our family had time to use. The location of the condo complex is a quiet area, but a short bike ride from the business section. The only thing that would have improved the condo complex for us would be a covered parking spot (we visited in July). We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat! Our family loved going out to the condo's beach in the evening and searching for live shells and sea creatures at the sandbar. We had many new sea life encounters there. Sand dollars, sea stars, conch, crabs, clams, osprey, pelicans, egrets, and ibis all easily found from the sandbar. We spent our week seeking Sanibel's famous wildlife, spotting one baby turtle, one large turtle and many dolphins and fish jumping in the waters between our condo and the lighthouse beach and pier. Bowman's beach was a great place to go to watch the sunset and go shelling. We would return in the winter sometime to see the migratory birds and the elusive manatees, but we enjoyed the "off" season with a more relaxed, uncrowded, locals vibe.

                            Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

                            Pictures do not do this lovely property justice. Much roomier than it seems here ... extremely comfortable and homey, immaculate and well maintained, very nice appointments and well stocked kitchen ... all the comforts of home and then some. Owner gives great tips on local restaurants & excursions -- we tried just about all of them and were not disappointed. We visited for Labor Day weekend and the following week, and really enjoyed the slower pace and unbelievably warm Gulf. Spent some relaxing time in the great floating pool chairs, and all the other goodies in the storage bay. It had been a decade or so since we visited Sanibel so had great fun re-discovering old haunts and things we'd forgotten about. However, much of our enjoyment was due to a great home base -- this lovely property really fits the bill!

                            Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

                            I am a retired General Manager from one of the largest hotel companies in the world, so I have some expertise in this field. I stayed for a week in May and this unit has been refurbished to very high standards. I will list pros and cons for this unit. Pros. 1. The owner. You can tell he takes pride in this property due to his attention to detail in refurbishing this unit. 2. The management company. (Sanibel Holiday) Very professional and willing to help you in anyway. 3. The cleanliness of the unit. This unit is extremely clean and neat. 4. The furniture and beds. All furniture and beds appeared new and were in pristine condition. 5. The decor. The decor is done in shell motif, its great! 6. The TV's. Three new flat screen tv's with a nice selection of cable chanels. 7. Free Wifi. 8. The renovations. New bathroom fixtures, carpet, tile, kitchen counters, paint, blinds, and crown moldings. My role as a hotel General Manger included over seeing many renovations and this renovation is as good if not better than any of them. 9. The storage locker. Although I did not use anything from the locker I did look and there is everything you can imagine for a family vacation, bikes, floats, toys, etc. 10. Very easy to get to the beach. Take the elevator to the 1st floor, turn left, and take a short walk to the beach. 11. Parking right in front of the unit. No cons. I loved this unit for many reasons but mainly for the attention that was put into renovating the unit. It is really nice. The gulf view could be a little better but I have stayed in many hotels that the view was not as good. From my many year in the hotel business I consider this unit to be a very good value in great condition.

                          About: My wife Debra and I have two daughters (Hannah 18 and Madison 15) and we have been coming to Sanibel for 18 years. I am a transactional attorney with a focus on real estate development and Debra is a teacher by training but has stayed at home with the children ever since Madison was born. Our daughters are both soccer players and Hannah will be leaving for college to continue her soccer playing at Hanover College in the fall. We are extensive travelers so this is the reason we have decided to share our lovely Sanibel home with others.

                          The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
                          The location on the island is perfect from a biking and travel perspective. The fact that we have two full-sized beds in the guestroom and the large storage unit currently holding 9 bikes and lots of beach items makes things very easy. Hey guys wanted to give you some information about Sanibel. I’m a planner by nature and always like to have some recommendations when I go places. Anyway, some of our favorite restaurants for dinner are Traders ( the portions here are decent size, we often split entrees so we have room for appetizers and maybe a dessert), also like the Mad Hatter which is on captiva (it is pretty high end but good food, we will often eat here our last night as a nice dinner send off, but it’s a little pricey), also eat a lot at the Sanibel grill (it is a sports bar type food but they have a great crunchy grouper sandwich and great clam chowder, obviously more moderate priced, also here at the sanibel grill they have a raw bar, if there happens to be a wait we go in and get some shrimp cocktail and they will give you cocktail sauce if you just ask and have it as an appetizer in the outside seating area. Even if there is not a wait you can buy it and take it over to your table in the Sanibel grill and eat it, it is not the same shrimp on the menu, anyway that’s if you like a good shrimp cocktail. We also sometimes are craving Italian every now and than and there is a nice new Italian restaurant on the island , not so sure how to spell it but I think its il Tesoro. We also like the sunset grill a lot which is at blind pass (right at the end of Sanibel before you enter captiva , it is a little pricey too but good food)
