We are located in beautiful Hancock Massachusetts, just under two miles away from the base of Jiminy Peak. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall there is always something to do, or just relax and enjoy the sounds of the Kinderhook creek right in our backyard!
All of the Berkshies exciting attractions are close by! Enjoy Jiminy Peak, Tanglewood, Lenox, Mount Graylock, Williamstown, Pontoosuc Lake, and all the area attractions!

Main Floor:
Master Bedroom: Cathedral Ceiling, Brand New Queen Size Pillow Top Mattress, Log Head Board, 2 Draw (One Cedar Lined) Log Night Stand, Full Closet, Skylight, and Sliders to Private Deck over looking the Kinderhook Creek.
Bedroom 2: Cathedral Ceiling, Brand New Queen Size Pillow Top Mattress, Log Twig Head Board, 2 Draw (one Cedar lined) Log Night Stand, Full Closet
Bedroom 3: Cathedral Ceiling, Twin size Bunk Beds with a pull out bottom Twin size Trundle bed (Room Sleeps 3 Adults or 4 Kids comfortably), small closet.
There is a full bath on the bedroom level and a half bath on the lower level.
There is a full size log futon with a TOP of the Line innerspring mattress in the upstairs living room along with a trunk style coffee table full of board games.
Lower Level with Sliding Glass Doors to Back Yard:
Down stairs is our family room/Kitchen/ Dining area where we provide a 37” LCD HDTV with Direct TV, BluRay player and wii. Comfy Sectional Couch and Pellet Stove! Our Kitchen has all major appliances and toaster, microwave, blender, coffee maker, etc. Cooking Utensils Provided: pots, pans, cutlery and dishware for 12, as well as outdoor dishes and cups. We have a great rustic dining table with seating for 6 + two stools.
Additionally there is a laundry Room, with a Full size washer and dryer. All linens and bath towels are provided.

We had rented the Jiminy Peak cabin for a summer weekend to attend a music festival in nearby North Adams. The cottage has everthing you need and we found it to be very clean and well maintained. The lower level kitchen / living area is very nicely done - comfortable place to hang out and relax and also equiped with a flat screen TV. After being outdoors and encountering some heavy rain, It was very handy to have a full laundry room! The beds are very comfortable with new mattresses - I feel that I got just as good of a night's sleep as I would in my own home. Overall, very good experience and found the owners to be responsive and friendly. Thanks!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We vacationed here with our family (2 adults and 3 children ages 6, 9 & 10) and another family (2 adults and 2 children age 6) and had a great time! The house easily accommodated our two families. The whole house was super clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all that we needed for two families (pots/pans, dishes etc) and we all hung out down stairs in the open living space after skiing. We were so close to Jiminy Peak (5 minute car ride). Would definitely stay here again. We would like to see how beautiful it would be in the Spring/Summer too! Thanks for fun family weekend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Perfect house for a quick weekend ski trip or a week long escape. Cozy place with brand new appliances, and very close to the slopes. Would definitely rent again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Why the Owner Chose Hancock:
There is so much to do in the berkshires year round! We love the family atmosphere at Jiminy Peak and how close our house is to the mountain. The lifts are so fast and even when it's crowded you do not have a long wait! The mountain has something going on all year long.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
We love the sound of the creek in our backyard and being able to take the kids fishing and kayaking right down the road in the beaver pond that is at the end of our property.
