Very large & clean (dog friendly) rental
Very large & clean (dog friendly) rental
We enjoyed the comfortable living/dining area. The front porch is great even in the winter. Our dog loved it and instantly became protective by checking out everyone passing by. Super large bath/changing area/closets in the master. Enjoyed walking everyday by the lake and beach. Thanks for taking the time to decorate the home so beautifully for xmas.

Owner response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. It was my pleasure to decorate for your Christmas getaway. Have a grrreat year.
Wow! What fun we had! This could be the start of a new Thanksgiving tradition. The location could not have been better for our family. It provided the teens with their own freedom to walk to town or the boardwalk with no adult supervision. They loved to shop or walk the dog at their leisure. The town seemed secure as we let them call in with their whereabouts. The best feature of the house is the gorgeous spacious front porch. We sat on the porch for hours and people watched, sipped drinks and read books. The other great feature is the two large dining tables situated close enough for everyone's company. The owner was extremely pliant and even let us extend our stay via phone call. The house was clean and had all the amenities for our vacation. There were activities that gave the area a "Mayberry" feeling: the lighting of the town Christmas tree and the Saturday farm market. The town is pet and bicycle friendly. Thanks for a wonderful introduction to Rehoboth, Joy!

About the owner: I'm native of Rehoboth with deep roots here, who loves meeting people. I am a fanatic about seeing that my vacation homes are well maintained. I am on call 24/7 when my guests are here. I make a point to be on site each Saturday to be sure that everything is in order ~ clean and tidy~ for my incoming guests. I love greeting them at check-in. It is very important that my guest have the best vacation experience possible. We spend our winters, up dating our homes, ~replacing, repairing, redecorating, and making sure that everything is clean and inviting. I have been married for 33 years, have 2 grown children and 3 precious grandsons. When I am not working ,you can find me in spending time with my family. I enjoy gardening, knitting, painting, and reading.
Why the Owner Chose Rehoboth Beach:
My vacation homes has been in my family since 1938. We began renting my family home in 1993 when my dad pasted away. It was too large for my mother, but she didn't want to sell it. She moved in with my family in Bethany Beach then. However, she missed Rehoboth and built a smaller home there in 2000. We have families that have returned each year since that time. They bring their families the same week every year. They have become friends ~ almost family as I have watched their families grow over the years. I lookd forward to their weeks almost as much as they do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Rehoboth is a magical place to vacation. It has the right balance ~ quiet, yet still having tons of activities for all ages and life styles. My home is in the heart of town within easy walking distance of everything. The wrap around porch provides tons or entertainment if you enjoy people watching.
