Aloha and welcome to Hale Kai #108. The lanai of our ground floor unit looks out on the Pacific Ocean and Honokowai Park. It is steps away from our oceanfront pool and the beach. It's louver windows open to trade winds, keeping us cooler than on other parts of the island.
Our living room has a flat panel cable TV and DVD player. The kitchen and bedroom were remodeled in 2011. Fully equipped, our kitchen has all new appliances, travertine floors and granite countertops. The bathroom includes an oversized walk-in shower. Our complex includes barbecues, laundry facilities and parking. If you really have to keep in touch with the outside world, we have free wireless internet connections.
Hale Kai faces the channel between Lanai and Molokai. Turtles feed on our reef, whales spend their winters swimming by, and monk seals occasionally drop in for a visit. Nearby activities include Championship golf at Kapalua, fine dining and live entertainment. Historic Lahaina is a few minutes down the road. A farmer's market and gourmet coffee are across the street, and an upgraded playground area for children is at the south end of Honokowai Park.
People who stay at Hale Kai #108 include many repeat guests, so do make your plans in advance. Hale Kai means 'Home by the Sea', and we are well named.
