  I normally have vacation with my entire family, so getting hotel rooms makes for a cramped vacation. This house was super nice and had more than enough room for the eight of us. Easy walk to the beach. It is also within minutes of many Myrtle Beach attraction. I would recommend staying here for a great vacation.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

  Owner response: One of the things that a vacationer will tell us after staying in separate hotel rooms year after year and then switching to a house is how much more connected they feel as a family after their vacation. They sat out on the decks together and they cooked and ate meals and played games together. It really brings families closer.

  Love this Home, we have stayed there every year since 2007, Spacious, very clean, decorated nice, lovely home, love the TVs on the walls, We enjoy the decks, the main deck is soooo large, cook out alot, great parking, and lots of great restaurants close by, grocery stores, Walmart, and oh yeah Krispy Kreme, for the grandchildren, Cook out alot and also several home cooked meals. :0) Try to eat out atleast twice, we ate this year at Boundary House in Calabash, Great crab cakes, sprimp and flounder, loved this restaurant, across the street a Christmas shop for all you ladies, worth the drive, Reasonable price, Also great entertainment close by, we went to concert at Alabama Theatre, got tickets online, Merle Haggard, put on great show!!!! You can walk to the beach, and also have access their to a go cart, at a great price. As you can tell our family always have a great time. great place for kids. Quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this to any of our friends and family. Lori is very nice and great to work with. Vance, and Maxine & family &grand babies-------- from Virginia

  Our family of 9 adults and 3 children stayed this home over Memorial Day weekend and absolutely loved it. The house was clean, roomy and very comfortable. You truly feel at home while on vacation. The wrap around deck was great it allowed a safe play area for the children and a great place for the adults to relax as well. The location was perfect, a couple minutes walking and you are the beach. It is also located about 10 minutes to Murrells Inlet which has great food. We were pleasantly surprised with Dagwood's bar & grill, the food was excellent and almost walking distance to the grounds. A great place to visit for a great meal and a cocktail without breaking the bank. My husband and I own a home in Murrells Inlet but could not accomodate our large vacationing family. Staying in this house was nothing short of our own. Our family had a wonderful full time and this home was part of that, allowing us to enjoy a home away from home. I hope to have vacation here again and would definately select this house again.

When others ask about our location, I always mention that we like our location in South Myrtle Beach best, as there is so much to see and visit from a half hour south to a half hour north.   Great location, away from heavy traffic,but close enough to the beach. Deck was a great place for late afternoon happy hour or early morning quiet. Outside shower a plus. Our family had a wonderful week and will do it again. Owners are very personable and attentive.

  We have stayed at this home twice and both times have exceeded our expectations! It is walking distance to the beach and to the strip but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle that it is also very peaceful and private. Plenty of room for two families to stay and in and it easily fits all of our cars (one being an Ford Expedition). Another great part to this house is the house beside it is owned by the same family so we were able to rent both houses the same week which accomodated our large extended group one of the years we stayed. Very clean, beautifully decorated and was truly like staying in our second home. I would highly recommend! The owners are great to work with as well!

  Unfortunately that description of this home is not accurate on the website. There are not 5 bedrooms. There are 4 bedrooms and a common area with 2 full beds in it with no door. When I emailed the owner she stated the website clearly stated that the 5th bedroom was open floor plan however this is not true. The website states: Bedroom #1- Private Master Bedroom Suite with queen size bed, jetted Jacuzzi tub, separate stall shower, Granite countertops Bedroom #2,3,4- Queen bed Bedroom #5- Two full size beds This was very upsetting as we had 5 young children under the age of 5 and the open floor plan was not conducive our sleeping arrangement. The facilities: beach, pool and play grounds were wonderful!

  Owner response: Our website clearly states that the one bedroom (it is a bedroom, as it has a closet) is 'an open modern bedroom'. This is a selling feature of our house, as it serves as a kids 'family room'. Renter's love it! When this renter contacted me (via email, not by phone), I even offered her our other house. I never heard back from her, I only found her negative review.

  We all had the best time. We will make this our family vacation spot every year. The house is beautiful and when we arrived, it was very clean. The location is perfect and we could all walk to and from the beach with no problem.
