We have 2 houses which are next to each other, each with 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, each on oversized lots for easy pull in pull out. Now large families/friends can vacation next to each other. Each home is beautifully decorated with a great 'beach feel'. Both have Master Bedroom Suites with jetted jacuzzi tubs and separate stall showers. Beautiful craftsmanship has gone into each of these houses!
You may rent one, or both!
We use our calendar for BOTH houses so if week is booked, it means BOTH houses are booked. If it shows that it is available on the calendar, one may be booked and we will tell you which house is available and which is not.

House # 1 sleeps 12 comfortably with 2 extra using the pull out couch in the Great Room.
House # 2 sleeps 11 comfortably with 2 extra using the pull out couch inthe Great Room.
House # 1 has a huge covered porch that wraps around 3 sides of the house. House # 2 has a 20x40 lower deck (half is covered)and a 10x20 covered upper balcony deck.

5th bedroom in house #1- an open concept bedroom that the kids love to use as a 'family room'. This bedroom has 2 full beds.

Bathrooms: 3 Full baths plus a 1/2 bath
2 baths have oversized jetted jacuzzi tubs with separate stall showers (2 baths downstairs, 2 upstairs) Enjoy a relaxing bath in this beautiful bay window bathroom!
Both houses are on oversized lots, with ample parking for up to four vehicles. (If you know Ocean Lakes, you are familiar with the narrow roads.) No hassles pulling in and out of this property!
The kitchen has everything you will need for cooking and serving meals including a dishwasher, microwave, European cooktop stove, coffee pot, coffee grinder, large griddle and Corian countertops. All cooking utensils included.
Hard wood floors throughout first floor living area. There is a full size laundry room on the first floor with a washer/dryer.

Ocean Lakes is everything you could ask for in a family vacation. Located in South Myrtle Beach, 6 miles from MB Airport, it has almost a mile of private beach and is a gated community/resort with all the ammenities you will need. The recreation area has an Olympic-size outdoor pool, an indoor heated pool, a kiddie water play area with fountains and mounted squirt guns, 2 playgrounds, a snack shop that serves fast food and ice cream, shaded picnic areas, and lots of room for sunbathing.
Next to the pool is a huge recreation building where you will find scheduled activities for young and old alike (bingo,ceramics, arts and crafts, also free putt-putt and horseshoe tournaments). Why the Owner Chose Holiday Inn (900, 1000, 1100) Section
After vacationing all of our lives in Myrtle Beach, both at resorts and campgrounds, we came upon Ocean Lakes- the best of both worlds! It is truly a resort where you can 'let the kids go' and feel very safe in doing so. Many of the years we would do all of the wonderful touristy things that MB has to offer, but now that we found Ocean Lakes, we cherish vacationing without leaving the grounds and just relaxing at the house and beach. We love the location of the houses because it is not on the very busy 'strip' or ocean front where you hear the fireworks all night- you can view the fireworks from the decks, but are away from the busyness of it all.

Love this Home, we have stayed there every year since 2007, Spacious, very clean, decorated nice, lovely home, love the TVs on the walls, We enjoy the decks, the main deck is soooo large, cook out alot, great parking, and lots of great restaurants close by, grocery stores, Walmart, and oh yeah Krispy Kreme, for the grandchildren, Cook out alot and also several home cooked meals. :0) Try to eat out atleast twice, we ate this year at Boundary House in Calabash, Great crab cakes, sprimp and flounder, loved this restaurant, across the street a Christmas shop for all you ladies, worth the drive, Reasonable price, Also great entertainment close by, we went to concert at Alabama Theatre, got tickets online, Merle Haggard, put on great show!!!! You can walk to the beach, and also have access their to a go cart, at a great price. As you can tell our family always have a great time. great place for kids. Quiet and peaceful. Our family of 9 adults and 3 children stayed this home over Memorial Day weekend and absolutely loved it. The house was clean, roomy and very comfortable. You truly feel at home while on vacation. The wrap around deck was great it allowed a safe play area for the children and a great place for the adults to relax as well. The location was perfect, a couple minutes walking and you are the beach. It is also located about 10 minutes to Murrells Inlet which has great food. We were pleasantly surprised with Dagwood's bar & grill, the food was excellent and almost walking distance to the grounds. A great place to visit for a great meal and a cocktail without breaking the bank. My husband and I own a home in Murrells Inlet but could not accomodate our large vacationing family. Staying in this house was nothing short of our own. Our family had a wonderful full time and this home was part of that, allowing us to enjoy a home away from home. I hope to have vacation here again and would definately select this house again.

Great location, away from heavy traffic,but close enough to the beach. Deck was a great place for late afternoon happy hour or early morning quiet. Outside shower a plus. Our family had a wonderful week and will do it again. Owners are very personable and attentive.

We have stayed at this home twice and both times have exceeded our expectations! It is walking distance to the beach and to the strip but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle that it is also very peaceful and private. Plenty of room for two families to stay and in and it easily fits all of our cars (one being an Ford Expedition). Another great part to this house is the house beside it is owned by the same family so we were able to rent both houses the same week which accomodated our large extended group one of the years we stayed. Very clean, beautifully decorated and was truly like staying in our second home. I would highly recommend! The owners are great to work with as well!

Unfortunately that description of this home is not accurate on the website. There are not 5 bedrooms. There are 4 bedrooms and a common area with 2 full beds in it with no door. When I emailed the owner she stated the website clearly stated that the 5th bedroom was open floor plan however this is not true. The website states: Bedroom #1- Private Master Bedroom Suite with queen size bed, jetted Jacuzzi tub, separate stall shower, Granite countertops Bedroom #2,3,4- Queen bed Bedroom #5- Two full size beds This was very upsetting as we had 5 young children under the age of 5 and the open floor plan was not conducive our sleeping arrangement. The facilities: beach, pool and play grounds were wonderful!
Owner response:Our website clearly states that the one bedroom (it is a bedroom, as it has a closet) is 'an open modern bedroom'. This is a selling feature of our house, as it serves as a kids 'family room'. Renter's love it! When this renter contacted me (via email, not by phone), I even offered her our other house. I never heard back from her, I only found her negative review.

We all had the best time. We will make this our family vacation spot every year. The house is beautiful and when we arrived, it was very clean. The location is perfect and we could all walk to and from the beach with no problem.
