Please visit the two forests web-sites to learn about the fishing ponds, hiking, riding horse trails, ATV trails, biking, canoeing, hunting etc. Attractions nearby include golfing, tennis, boating, kayaking, museums, and historical tours. Please remember that the term nearby in rural areas is not the same as in city grounds.

Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: My wife and I spend most our time in a city environment and we always thought of a place where serenity can take us away from the everyday stress of our jobs. As our kids grew up, we took them every opportunity we had to this get away property where they rode golf carts, ATVs and even took their first driving lessons in the forest. We believe in Judaism and Christianity principles and although we welcome every one, we prefer that our guests refrain from using our home for loud events in order to preserve the quietness of the area.
Why the Owner Chose Jacksonville:
It's within driving distance of our home, it;s easy to get to and from an international airport but yet remote from any city environment. It is next to a national forest and within an hour drive of natural springs.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It is a short walk to the Northeast section of the Osceola National Forest and John M. Bethea State Forest. Whether is going for a jog before sunrise or going hiking through the forest, you are separated from the everyday rush of the city environment.
