The condo was great and met all needs for ourselves, our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren (ages 6 & 2). It was clean and nicely furnished. The owners had it well stocked with basic food and supplies and provided several extras which were appreciated. Cool weather prevented us from spending much time on the balcony, but we enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake. The owners provided clear and thorough arrival info, condo info, and suggestions for restaurants and activities. We especially enjoyed the Mid America Science Museum, Garvan Woodland Gardens, and hiking in Lake Catherine State Park. The owner was also very understanding about illness causing our delayed arrival. We would recommend this to others planning to spend time in the Hot Springs area.

We had a wonderful, relaxing trip to this beautiful area. We were surprised and pleased with the beauty of the drive as we approached Hot Springs. Quite spectacular. The home was as described-the pictures accurately reflected what the layout and amenities were. The house was very comfortable, clean and inviting. The view was wonderful and we enjoyed coffee and "happy hour" on the balcony/deck. I would recommend this rental to visitors of all ages. During the summer, I'm sure that it is a great location for enjoying the lake.

Very dated; needs updating desperately. Chair in den so old and low weren't comfortable. WE CLEANED THE OVEN, AS IT WAS SMOKING!! At least need new pizza/cookie sheet. Ran out of toilet paper; had 2 tissues in kleenex box. One light in master bedroom had 40 watt light, so I read by overhead; consequently, not saving money on that idea. Nice location, but I'd want a more updated house to rent next time.

Owner response: After adding new wood flooring in living room and bedrooms less than a month ago, we were surprised to hear your comment! Some of our furniture is new and some is not, but our prior guests have been satisfied and we find it comfortable. We are sorry to hear about the oven and Kleenex - it has been addressed with our cleaning crew. We'll also put a brighter bulb in the lamp, although there is ample lighting in all the rooms (both overhead and lamp lighting). We appreciate your input as we continue to improve our vacation home.

The acommodations were amazing. It actually was more beautiful than it appeared online. Nothing was oveerlooked and everything we needed was there. We were only short on toilet paper. 4 rolls for 6 people for 10 days was not enough. That is my only complaint. Everything else was wonderful and beyond my expectations.

It was the perfect place for us to stay, we had more than enough room to be very comfortable. The lake view was wonderful, very clean and well maintained. Everything was perfect. We had plenty of room for 2 families with 2 small children. The whole condo was welcoming and so comfortable! Loved the glass doors looking out on the lake. We had easy access to everything we wanted to do and a great place to come back to and rest after our days activities.

beautiful view, the hill to the boat dock was a little steep but we got used to it. overall it was a very enjoyable time.

This condo was very nice. With a deck overlooking Lake Hamilton. Was so peaceful for us older people to sit in the evenings watching the sun go down. Very good location making it easy to get to everything.

Wonderfully Relaxing

This condo is cozy and comfortable. It is obvious that the owners take good care of it, and do everything they can to ensure their guests have a nice stay. They even have special touches like snacks and games, and have obviously put much thought into making their home nice for others. It was no nice to have a getaway vacation here. Waking up every morning watching the sun rise over the lake on the adorable back porch... there's not much better than that! We will definitely stay here again when we head to Hot Springs. We felt well taken care of, and came back home feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thanks for our wonderful vacation!

This place is beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. Our trip was planned at the last minute, so I was thinking there was no way that we would be able to find anything on VRBO ...I called the Hargis' at 8:30 pm the evening before we were leaving for Hot Springs.Thank goodness it was the off season! They were so helpful and so kind. We had a wonderful 2 night stay with 3 adults and 4 children. There are toys and DVD's for the children (it was almost like Christmas for them) and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, the view from the balcony is spectacular! I can't say enough...I will definitely try to rent this property on my next trip to Hot Springs. Thank you so much Bill and Laurel!

Took a girls trip with my mom and sisters and my little girl. Had a great time. The condo was perfect with a awesome view of the lake. We all miss the cool mornings on the deck with coffee in hand already. Easy to get into and close to town. Would stay there again for sure. Owners are very nice and helpful.

The location is perfect for any activity you want to do. Shopping, fishing, hiking, camping,dining, biking, golfing, night life it's all close. The condo is clean, spacious, cozy, quiet and a true home away from home. We had everything we needed and wished we would have rented another night!! The kids had a blast, and had fun at night playing board games and watching movies. The porch/balcony was awesome for watching sunsets and sipping coffee in the am. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family or anyone wanting a great place to vacation/ get away. Our only dislike is, that we had to leave :( Thank You for a wonderful place to stay, we will definately be staying again.

We had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay in this condo again. It was very clean and comfortable! We loved all the special touches - board games and toys for the kids, snacks in the kitchen upon arrival, etc. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool which was super clean and well-maintained. We loved the view of Lake Hamilton from the balcony and also appreciated being on a quieter side of the lake. We were close to everything Hot Springs has to offer, but were able to rest peacefully at night. The owners were a breeze to work with too! I can't say enough good things about this place - stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful condo with great lake view. Rooms were very clean with everything we need. Our kids (11 and 8 years' old) love those games and books. My little baby (19 months) likes to spend his time on the balcony. Very close to the community pool, and we spent lots of time there. The only problem was that the pool was closed in the last two days for repair, but we swam in the lake to comforted the kids.

Owner response: Happy you had a great time! There was a big storm while you were there that really messed up the pool - debris and chemicals. They drained it and got it back in shape as quickly as possible. Come back soon.

Roomy and relaxing Condo

We really enjoyed this condo. It was so easy, relaxing and roomy. My grandkids really enjoyed the kids room and the pool. The views of the lake just added to the peaceful ambiance and the sunsets are awesome. We were also pleasantly surprised on how quiet it was. The ground level entry, washer and dryer, Wifi, cable, and 2 bathrooms were all a plus. We will stay here again when we return to Hot Springs. Thanks!

Thank you so very much for accommodating our last minute rental of your condo in Hot Springs. It was absolutely perfect! My 6 year old daughter "took" her daddy fishing for father's day and she caught her first fish! The location was awesome and the surroundings were so very peaceful. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us for the weekend! The photos are exactly what you get the location was great and access was easy. We will definitely consider renting this place again in the future.

I just want to say that this condo is absolutly beautiful, the pictures really don't do it justice. So peaceful and quiet with an amazing view. The owners have really put alot of thought into this condo, all you will need to bring is your clothes and food if you plan to use the kitchen, but other than that, it has everything, from kids toys, board games, to movies and books. We didn't want to leave and will definitly be back soon.

our family consists of twin boys ages 2yr. old, a 3 yr old boy, a 5 1/2 yr old girl, & a 8 1/2 yr old girl. there were games & books for all ages & gender which was fantastic! there was not one single thing that we could complain about! the condo was everything we expected & more!

Everything about the condo lived up to expectations; including the view of the lake. The only thing we might have asked for was better weather.There was even salt and pepper! I don't expect a complete spice rack but it's nice not to have to buy the basics. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and/or relatives and would like to return ourselves the next time we plan to attend the Arkansas Derby.

This place was amazing! The view of the lake was great. I will definitly recommend! Only problem was the pool was not open due to repairs.
