Sandpiper condo description
This sunny, freshly painted condo is located in Sandpiper, in Circle One, which is steps away from world famous El Paseo Drive with fabulous restaurants, art galleries, and shops. There are golf courses and tennis courts in the area and beautiful mountain views, including nearby hiking. There are grocery stores, a drug store, and a gas station across the street and a mall with department stores and a movie theater less than a mile away.
This condo faces a common area with colorful flowers, fruit trees, a pool that is heated year round, and ramada where guests can BBQ poolside and use an outdoor ice maker. There is also a small, informal putting green behind the ramada. In addition to the front patio facing the pool area, this condo also has a south facing, newly remodeled and landscaped enclosed patio in the back with solar evening lighting.
This condo has new interior and exterior doors, windows, and screens and has been freshly painted. The appliances are new; the entire condo has been tiled, and 4 solar light tubes were added.

We are a retired couple that just completed a three and half month seasonal stay at this condo. It is as described by the owner and the location is fantastic. Yes, it really is just steps away from fabulous restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. The condo itself was well suited for the two of us. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. The owner is a very pleasant, honest person who is great to deal with and goes out of her way to answer questions and make sure you are a satisfied. We were so pleased with everything about this condo and its owner that we returning in 2013. However, there are still lots of other days for you to book this condo and enjoy everything Sandpiper has to offer.

Quiet Relaxing Get-Away
We stayed at this property in March, 2011, and had a wonderful time. The unit was very spacious, clean and quiet. We especially enjoyed the two patios, one in sun, one in shade. The grounds were immaculate and we enjoyed lounging and swimming in the heated pool (30 degrees Celsius). The complex is very private and is in an ideal walking location to many amenities. The well-equipped kitchen and huge fridge were a treat. Kitty, the owner, was very prompt with answering any questions and the rental process was very easy. We would definately recomend this condo and the Sandpiper development for anyone that wants a relaxing get-away to sunny Palm Desert! Deb and Ken Vancouver, BC

Sandpiper is a very special development, located in the heart of Palm Desert and designed by the famous architect William Krissel. It is a wonderful place to lounge by the heated pool during the day and BBQ outside or walk to a wide variety of good restaurants. Palm Springs, Indian Wells, and La Quinta are nearby and also offer a large selection of shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Idyllwild, an interesting mountain community, is an hour drive up the mountain for a complete change of scene.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Unlike many other desert properties, because of the orientation of the windows and roof overhang, the blinds can be left open all day without the sun beating inside. Also unique to this condo is the recently remodeled, south facing, private patio. The condo also has a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.
