Enjoy the sites from the penthouse balcony on the 6th floor of the Pelican Isle with great views to take in the view of the dolphins as they frolic in the surf or sea gulls as they glide along the breeze of the of the beach. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening meal on the balcony which has a wraparound balcony with 2 sets of table and chairs to accommodate everyone in your party and from within the unit has two slides from the family room.
Okaloosa Island is a way to beat the crowds as we have no high rises to bring in all the crowds. Our beaches are not crowded like other panhandle cities. So we have a piece of paradise without all the crowds and traffic, yet we are only a few miles to most of your heart's desires. We are only approximately 7 miles to Destin to the most wonderful fishing village where multiple fishing vendors await your request for a trip to catch “The Big One” where shops and restaurants abound. Destin has many shopping areas to please everyone from Destin Commons, Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Destin’s Harborwalk Village at the foot of the Destin Bridge. There is enough shopping spots to please the avid shopper. Even the guys like Destin Common with Bass Pro Shop and the kids like the activities and train rides. Nothing was spared in setting this unit up to take rentals. It has brand new kitchen cabinets, counter tops and state of the art stainless steel appliances. The carpets, drapes and custom bedspreads are all new and compliment the beach cottage décor. The unit has a new set of high efficiency washer/dryer combo. Master bath room has new spa tub/shower for your relaxation and enjoyment. Last but not least the family room has a 42” flat screen TV/DVD/Blue Ray for your enjoyment. Both bedrooms have 32” flat screen TV/DVDs and the bunks each have a 19” flat screen TV with remote.
The kitchen has a desk off to the side for use for the business or computer needs. No need to use the bar or table. We have wireless internet as well as covered, reserved parking.

Our family has stayed in this area MANY years and counting. We have also stayed in MANY different condos. I have never felt compelled to write a review on any of them. BUT, after walking in to this one, I knew it was different and I knew I had to say something about it so others will have the opportunity to be able to stay here. The Pelican Isle is situated so nicely so you have the most WONDERFUL views and this condo is on the TOP corner with THREE balconies. It is hard to go inside. On cool nights, you want to drag your blanket out and sleep there. The decor is so warm and feels like home. Every bed is comfortable and the rooms are HUGE. The kitchen is well stocked - never needed anything - and a desk too! WoW. Free WiFi. We were ready to move in. Seriously. Master has a jetted tub and shower. Double WOW. Don't miss out on this one. The location is so close to everything. Okaloosa Island is right on Fort Walton Beach's doorstep, a bridge from Destin and everything else. Restaurants, grocery, goodness, it is all right down the street. You really dont need to drive. The pictures can never tell the whole story. This unit is so well maintained, the appliances and furniture are top notch, the furnishings are spectacular. Ms. Wanda was always ready and willing to answer any questions for us. There is no reason to hesitate to call immedidately and get your reservations ! Thank you so much. We are so glad we found this treasure.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We found this condo to be everything advertised and more. Fantastic view, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds and furniture, easy access to pool and beach . . . all the comforts of home away from our home, far up north in cold and snowy Minnesota.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We l-o-v-e-d staying at this completely refurbished penthouse beachfront condo near Destin. Breathtaking UNBELIEVABLE view! Includes beach umbrella & chairs on a quiet beach, has super comfortable king-size beds, and built in bunks with TVs for the kids... (Really reasonable rates!) We highly-highly recommend this condo to all our friends.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My family and I just visited your condo at Pelican Isle the first week of August 2011. The condo was 1st class. Everything was just as described if not better. Even the little things were great. I have stayed in 3 other units at Pelican Isle and seen 4 others and this was the nicest of all of them. My family and I absolutely fell in love with this condo! The property is in immaculate condition with new and modern appliances and furnishings. Our teenagers loved the ability to spread out and enjoy their own space. Breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the gulf, was the perfect start to each day. The property manager is a joy to work with and we appreciate the care that goes into keeping this a first-class condo. We'll definitely be back!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
