Great family property
Great family property
My extended family (4 generations; my mother, my wife and I, our children and grandchildren) spent Christmas here. It was delightful. I confess we are foodies. The kitchen was superbly equipped. Lots of big pots and pans, plenty of plates and flatware. Our tribe could have used an extra refrigerator in the garage, or something, but the pantry was plenty big. The dining room table had two large extensions that let us seat all the adults at the table at once, with the kids right next to us at the island. There was also plenty of choice in what to do. Chipping and putting contests on the 4-hole practice green (The owner provided two wedges, two putters and plenty of balls. The mission hills pro shop even loaned my left-handed son-in-law a few clubs so he could play.), marco polo in the pool, football on a large screen TV, and lots of places to read. The property was spotless and well maintained. Two slight negatives would be: The gardeners start way too early with noisy equipment. And, even though it looks there is a recirc pump on the hot water heater, it took 7 minutes for hot water to get to the front guest shower. Not only would I heartily recommend this to any family for a great vacation, we plan to return.
