This 'to die for' home has just been built and has absolutely new Everything! Designed for entertaining and enjoying large family retreats, or just friends hanging out together.
Envision walking into a massive great room, with 27 foot-high ceilings and a soaring stone fireplace. This opens onto the dining room which seats 14, with 6 more seats at the island. The kitchen is hip, new and spacious. The entire space looks out onto the massive decks, where you can relax on luxurious outdoor furniture while gazing out over the lake. The whole floor is sound wired for your ipod, just plug it in and enjoy your music as you BBQ and chill out. The game room is stocked with pool table, air hockey, flat screen with surround sound, games, DVDs and toys. Each of the 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms are exquisitely designed, with brand new beds and linens. Hardwood floors run throughout the home, and balconies, decks and views are everywhere you look. Our rates INCLUDE cleaning and all fees. There are no hidden fees. You pay the rate you see listed, plus tax. There is a TOTALLY refundable security deposit collected right before your stay, and refunded days after your stay. That's it!

If there was a six star option I would go with that. We had such an incredible time at the house this past weekend. The design of the whole property is fantastic with huge decks on two of the levels and even some private decks on level three. The property was designed with style and high quality furnishings. Comfortable beds & bedrooms have plenty of room. Great common areas for everyone to all hang out, and private areas for when people want their own space. I'm looking forward until the next time we can go back, I'm telling everyone how great it was! The owner is very responsive. This is the place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a great home for large families. Outstanding views, huge living room, fabulous kitchen and great game room w/big flat screen. We had 10 people and never felt crowded. Bedrooms are spread over 3 levels, dining seating at the main table for 14 and great decks on two levels. Our grandkids loved all the games including Tri-air hockey. At the end of our stay they asked, "how soon can we come back?"Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My friends and our families stayed in the cabin over President's Day weekend this year. To say we had a BLAST would be an understatement! The pictures do not do this place justice! Jennifer is a wonderful hostess, answered all of my questions prior to our stay and during our stay she was just a phone call or email away. The kids loved the game room, we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the lake. Each family had their own comfortable room.We are for sure staying here again! W-o-w!! Every person that walked into this house said the exact same thing!! The pictures of this home online are nothing compared to actually being there. The owners have truely invested in making sure anyone who stays here feel like they are at a warm comfy home. All of the rooms are large and decorated with such classy taste. We were a party of 4 kids and 12 adults. This house was perfect because we all fit at the humongous dining room table and had plenty of room to lounge on either deck. The decorum and furniture we're perfect for entertaining. Mrs. Jennifer had everything you could possibly need as far as utensils & gadgets. The family room was a favorite with the kids because of the bunk beds, tv and pool table. They had a ball!! Our weekend was a celebration for my husband & 2 year old daughters birthday, and this house had it all!! From pack n plays to high chairs to night lights!! If you like to cook, this is the kitchen for you! My mother in law loved it! Mrs. Jennifer you are awesome!! Everything was labeled & very easy to access because Mrs. Jennifer truly cares that her renters enjoy their stay. While we were there she was readily available if needed and very pleasant to do business with. We weren't there more than a few hours before the family started planning dates & events on when to come back. Bottom line this house is beautiful and will stun you with breath taking views & peace and quiet. We stayed here over Easter on a family vacation. It was perfect. The teenagers had the bottom floor bedrooms and could watch tv and play pool while my little ones napped on the top floor. The view was spectacular. The house was clean and well maintained. There is a playground within walking distance which was great for my two year old twins. The use of the internet was easy. My family and I rented this house for the weekend to celebrate my grandfathers 80th birthday. The pictures and description does not do it justice! We had a range of family ages 8mo's-80yrs and there was something for everyone to do! Hiking, fishing, snowboarding, games, television, cooking, reading, hanging out on the deck, the list goes on and on. The open concept design of the home allows for a feeling of togetherness but its large space and high ceilings still allows everyone to feel spread out. It was so convenient having dishes, silverware, towels, sheets, blankets, mattresses, you name it(!), provided for you as well. The Gold family is a pleasure to work with. Beautiful!!!!! Great views!! Easy to relax on deck or infront of fireplace. Plenty of room for everyone. Game room perfect for kids to hang out. Loved cooking meals in the spacious well stocked kitchen. I would recommend this place to everyone. Great home, awesome bedrooms and bathrooms, and amazing view. We had an wonderful time and I'm sure you will too. If this were my house I wouldn't want to share it, so thank you to the owners for opening up your home for us to enjoy. :) FYI for you TV lovers there is an awesome one in the game room and only one in the smallest bedroom on the main floor but no dvd player. The other bedrooms don't have one. I'm sure it's a positive for some but not so much if your looking to cuddle in bed and watch a movie (so bring your laptop).Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: As parents of 3 young children, we wanted to build a home that would be fun for our kids, but fun for us too! We tore down a much smaller, older home and built this gorgeous house with entertaining and family trips in mind. Everyone that we bring to our home is stunned by the fantastic mix of modern and cozy, form and function. The home is so beautiful you don't want to leave, and the layout makes cooking and hanging out effortless. Our family hopes that you enjoy the home as much as we do!
Why the Owner Chose Lake Arrowhead:
It is so close to LA - takes less than 2 hours to drive it. And Lake Arrowhead is awesome year round, snow play in the winter and beach fun in the summer. Spring and Fall are beautiful and serene, so nice for relaxing, walking, having some down time.
