  Thank you so much for allowing us to be guests in your home on such short notice. The house was everything we needed. Not only did it provide clean and comfortable accommodations, it also gave us a taste of Nashville residential living. We enjoyed daily stops for coffee and had drinks at the local late-night bar! Your home is wonderful and I look forward to staying there again.

  Judith - Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us for New Years. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the neighborhood and the access to restaurants, entertainment and such. Also, Mary was a pleasure to deal with and tremendously helpful.

  Hey Jude, We had a wonderful time at Gartland! We all loved the house, the backyard, and the neighborhood. We participated in the Boulevard Bolt Thanksgiving day race, had a fire in the firepit, cooked Thanksgiving Dinner, played putt putt, visited the Opry hotel, strolled the downtown strip, and then to cap off the weekend, we joined the Nashville chapter of Notre Dame alum to see the football team WIN, and thus becoming undefeated for the season. (This is really BIG in our family, as our daughter Charlotte went to ND, and my husband if a HUGE wanna be) We all need a vacation from our vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

  We stayed in this home for three or four nights and was so pleased! The house has a nice flow to it, the beds were comfy, and most of all the kitchen was spacious. Our son was married that week and we had so many things to do and the house was large enough for us to put all of the things we needed for the great event. Bongo Java isn't too far away and definitely worth the morning trips! Rosepepper Mexican Restaurant is fabulous for dinner and walk across the street to the ice cream shop for dessert. Amazing!Judith is wonderful and we look forwrad to our next stay in her lovely home!

  We had a GREAT stay here for our 3 families. The space was perfect and the location met our needs. The owner is a pleasure to do business with and we would rent here again with no reservations!!!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  HI Jude, The stay was wonderful...we spent the mornings hanging at the house with our coffee! It was relaxing and comfortable. My friends enjoyed their stay, and were very complimentary about the accommodations. You have a beautiful home, and I enjoyed your master bed...very comfortable!   Such an amazing home in a great location! Judith is a pleasure to work with. There are a bunch of great restaurants nearby, a great little natural food store, and it's minutes from almost everything you'll want to see in Nashville. So happy we decided to stay in this cozy place rather than a hotel!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway.

Cancellation policy:

RENTAL RULES AND REGULATIONS The house, is located at 1622 Gartland Avenue, NashvilleTN 37206, 1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 2 P.M. EST AND CHECK OUT IS before 1 P.M. EST unless times other than this are agreed upon prior to arrival. 2. This is a NON SMOKING home. 3. Pets are not permitted in the house. 4. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 28 years of age unless accompanied by an adult, guardian or parent. 5. DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT- A damage/security deposit of $750.00 is required. This amount must be received with the booking the reservation unless other arrangements are made with owner. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. a. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers outside separating recycling from glass as glass in not recycled but rather disposed with garbage, soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and the dishwasher started. Please strip all beds of sheets, bathrooms of towels, bring them down to the laundry room and the laundry started. The house must be left in exactly the same condition and presentation that you received it in. Please return all items to the places that they were found. b. All keys are returned to property manager. c. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. d. No household items are lost or damaged beyond normal wear or tear. e. Any movie rentals on comcast are paid. 1. PAYMENT – The remaining balance is required 3-4 weeks before arrival.Please make payments in the form of traveler’s checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks payable to Judith George. If you would like to charge the balance to a credit card, it may be done so through online booking but the additional fee charged by this servicwe will be required. The balance must clear the bank prior to arrival. 2. CANCELLATIONS – A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellations. All cancellations after 30 days are subject to a 50% of the total rental charge fee. Cancellations that are made may not be charged if the Gartland is able to be rebooked by another party. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent, tax, cleaning fee or deposit. Travel insurance is suggested. 3. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel sixty (60) days prior to check-in. 4. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests for the home is limited to six to eight persons. An additional charge for more than 6 guests will be assessed. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A THREE NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. 5. Longer MINIMUM STAYS may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than two days, the guests will be charged the three night rate. 6. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the house, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however is available at an additional charge. We suggest you bring your own beach towels. Please do not take towels or linens from the house. 7. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change with notice only prior to full payment. 8. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. 9. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 10. STORMS/SEVERE WEATHER - no refunds will be given for weather. 11. As the owner of 1622 Gartland Avenue I am not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while in the home or on the premises. As the homeowner, I am not responsible for any loss of personal belongings by the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.It is understood that Gartland is not "child proof" and signing this agreement, it is understood that precautions will be taken by the guests/renters to conduct themselves in behavior and use precautions that insure the safety of all persons regardless of age. 12. Gartland is available for rental by mature responsible respectable adults. It is located in a quiet family neighborhood and is not available as a rental for "parties" of any kind. Any disruptive behavior (ie: neighborhood complaint, police or fire department) will result in forfeiture of the $750.00 security deposit. *Please list the names and ages of all persons who will be staying at Gartland. *Please send a copy of your drivers license.
