Spent a great long weekend for a girl's trip and loved everything about the condo. The view from inside and on the balcony was incredible. The condo was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was in a perfect location to be able to go to Rosemary Beach or to Seagrove to the rooftop bar at Bud & Alley's. I highly recommend having cocktail hour at the beautiful pool at Caliza nearby. Rosemary Beach has lots of shops and little lunch places. The condo owner was very helpful and even responded to my texts while we were at the condo to answer questions. I would love to come back to stay in this condo with my family.

This condo was everything it was described as and more. The owner has exquisite taste when it comes to decorating down to the bed mattresses. Each of us slept comfortably in our beds and that is a big deal when you vacationing away from home. We had everything we needed for our week long stay! The Capistrano property was very clean, well maintained and up to date. Parking was ample and private. There is a beach service to provide chairs and umbrellas if you want to leave yours behind. We can't wait for Summer 2014 so we can return to what we now call "our place on the beach front"!

Nice condo but we didn't get our deposit back!
The condo was nicely decorated and had a wonderful view. There were a few minor issues such as the ice maker not working, the toaster not working, several light fixtures being out (the master bath vanity had special bulbs I couldn't find at the store) and pet "soil" stains on the rugs and carpet. I noticed the Pet Stain Remover was nearly empty so it must happen often. But this is a pet friendly condo and I wasn't going to complain. The owner showed up to repair a broken bed, but I offered to do it for her. Having to check work email I was quite disappointed to find out there really isn't WiFi in her condo, but rather you have to pull from another person's condo (most of the week we couldn't get a signal). But this was all minor to us. What isn't minor is that our deposit was kept without any explanation. Perhaps this was just an error as I was told the previous renters left a big mess. Prior to leaving we swept the floors and stairs, vacuumed the carpets, stripped the beds and took out all the trash. I know it was left in great condition. I've tried to contact the owner but her voicemail is full. I assume this was a mistake on her part, but if not we just lost our deposit! At least it had a great view.

Owner response: This guest was given an answer as to why their deposit was withheld when the owner spoke to them by phone yesterday. The cleaning staff said it took several extra hours to remove pet hair from bedding and furniture. (Pets are not to be allowed on the furniture, though the condo is pet friendly.) This particular guest did not send the required amount of $300 for the security deposit for bringing a pet, and was discovered to have their dog with them because they came into the condo before check in time, while the owner was still making the rounds on repairs, etc. They did help with the replacement of caster wheels on the bed which had to be replaced, but the cleaning staff had to be paid for the extra time demanded for proper cleaning. If your pet is likely to have a problematic shedding issue, it is best to make other arrangements. They should NOT be on the furniture in this unit. Please Note: The condo does have its own wifi, and the code is available to guests when they receive the entry code. The previous guests did not leave a mess as stated by this reviewer. The replacement of lightbulbs was what the owner was trying to accomplish when the guest came in early. It is the owner's perspective that this guest did not want to admit the problem they left for the house-keeping staff and is trying to shed blame on others. (Unfortunately, his dog was the one that was the source of the shedding problem.) The owner certainly does not appreciate this review, which apparently was not sent until after they were denied their security deposit, which was needed to pay cleaning staff for extra hours spent there, due to the state the property was left in by this guest.
