Our location can't be beat and our amenities are top notch. You can start your day taking in the fantastic view of the fjord from the breakfast nook. Relax with a drink in your rocking chairs on the front deck as you watch the ships set sail in Resurrection Bay. The Seward House is sure to enhance your Alaskan experience and provide real value in your lodging needs.
The Seward House is a clean, comfortable three bedroom, two bath vacation rental. There are six beds in all, with two in each room, making it the perfect setting for your family or group. Our large well equipped kitchen makes cooking the catch of the day a breeze with either the indoor or outdoor grill. Most visitors make use of our free washer and dryer to freshen up and use our free WI-FI to send out fabulous vacation pics.
Our central location with plenty of offstreet parking for your boat and/or vehicle makes for a great home base as you explore our community. Walk a block toward the ocean and hit the bike path which leads to the harbor in one direction and The SeaLife Center in the other. Three blocks to the west of us is the trailhead for Mount Marathon. You can leave the front door and hike directly up either the Marathon Bowl or the Race Trail!
We are family friendly at The Seward House. There is a pack and play in the unit, as well as a high chair. There are not one, but TWO playgrounds within a block and a half!
We live onsite in the other half of the duplex, so please feel free to stop by for a cup of sugar and a tall Alaskan tale!

This was a greart choice for our group of 4 ladies and we could have fit more comfortably! 6 nice beds and 2 baths. Everything was clean and comfy. The location was perfect and we couldn't ask for more!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Great house to stay in. Very comfortable and clean, well furnished kitchen, and the laundry turned out to be a big plus as we needed to do a load! Owner is upstairs and super acommodating. We could walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Outstanding place to stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

Are stay was wonderful, the place was clean, and very welcoming. From the welcome note on the door to the little taffy treats left for the kids. Quiet with a great view and within walking distance to all the fun little shops in town. Thank you for making our stay in Alaska memorable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+.

My husband, son, parents-in-law and sister-in-law stayed four nights at The Seward House and loved it! View from house is great of the harbor and our hosts were great also. Just like being home and Leanne gave us wonderful tips on restaurants and driving tips. Would most definitely stay again!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

I stayed in this house with my 3 sisters and two of their husbands in July. I would highly recommend this place! The owners are very helpful and friendly. We had plenty of room and loved the view from the porch. Wish we would have had time to stay longer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
