The house with south direction is located in a beautiful residential region on a side street by a saltwater canal with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. Since the house is not behind a lock you can go directly through the canals to the Gulf of Mexico. Motorboats can be rented from the German managers or by one of the multiple renters. Since the house is not in a holiday complex, you can also get in contact with American neighbors and get tips for fishing or boating. There are 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room with a breakfast dining space (family room), 1 living room with a large dining space, a completely equipped kitchen with an electric stove, dishwasher, large fridge including a fridge with an ice maker. The usage of the Washer and the Dryer is included in the rental price. For a rental car, there is a garage with an automatic gate available.
Beaches / sport: : Cape Coral Beach is about a 5 minute drive away. Larger dream beaches are at a 20 minute drive away on the dream island of Sanibel or Captiva. Here you can go on kilometre long (15 km) beach walks on the stunning natural beaches and collect clams. The largest part of the island is the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge and offers a lot of information about the local fauna and flora with guides through the untouched nature and bird breeding stations. For those who love beaches, Ft. Myers Beach (a 20 minute drive) is perfect. Here you will find music and a lot of action! Water skiing, surfing, sailing, jet skiing, tennis, parasailing - everything is possible. Those who want to enjoy this beach with tranquility can go somewhere down the beach boulevard to the private houses and can look for a parking space with the help of the signs 'beach access with parking'.
Dog racing and motorboats:: Dog racing is also a popular betting sport in Florida. You can rent motorboats from our house administration. The current prices for the boat rentals from our management can be shared. The rental occurs directly through management. Otherwise, you can rent motorboats in a marina by Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral, in the Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral or in 2 marinas by Ft. Myers Beach. A boat license is not required, but recommended. Please remember that Florida is the only place in the USA where there are wild manatees. They are strictly under natural protection and may not by injured by motorboats. That is why you should drive slowly (maximum of 6 km/h) when near the coast (300 m) or in the canals.
Motorboating + Golf: Motorboats:
It is an experience if you have the luck to see one or more of these rare animals in nature. We have often seen these animals in our canal behind the house and it is an experience every time.
Golf:
The golf lovers will have over 130 golf courses available within a radius of 50 minutes. Directly in Cape Coral you will find multiple golf courses. The closest (Cape Coral Golf + Country Club) is a 5 minute drive from the house. Golf merchandise can be purchased here, but you must remember that customs will scrutinize new golf equipment.

This was the second consecutive year we've rented the Pelican House for a month's holiday. And based on the satisfying experience, we have already reserved the house for next year...for 1 & 1/2 months. The house continues to be maintained in excellent condition and has all the desired features. We even discovered that the owners upgraded furniture in the great room (living room). The house is located in a desirable and safe neighborhood. The owners continue to be gracious, thoughtful, and communicative. A minor inconvenience involved the sink's garbage disposal unit having a malfunction. A simple phone call to the property manager resulted in the issue being resolved within an hour of the phone call! Amazing! The property and the owners are top notch. In summary, the Pelican House represents excellence. Note: I don't know German. So I have used "Google Translate" to provide a German version of my review. Eine Fortsetzung der Excellence! Dies war das zweite Jahr in Folge haben wir das Pelican House gemietet haben für einen Monat Urlaub. Und auf der Grundlage der befriedigende Erfahrung haben wir bereits das Haus für das nächste Jahr reserviert ... für 1 & 1/2 Monate. Das Haus ist weiterhin in gutem Zustand gehalten werden und verfügt über alle gewünschten Funktionen. Wir haben sogar herausgefunden, dass die Besitzer Möbel in den großen Raum (Wohnzimmer) aufgewertet. Das Haus liegt in einer wünschenswerten und sichere Nachbarschaft. Die Eigentümer weiterhin gnädig zu sein, nachdenklich und kommunikativ. Eine kleine Unannehmlichkeit beteiligten der Spüle die Müllabfuhr Einheit eine Fehlfunktion. Ein einfacher Anruf bei der Hausverwaltung ergab sich das Problem innerhalb einer Stunde nach dem Anruf gelöst! Amazing! Das Eigentum und die Besitzer sind erstklassig. Zusammenfassend stellt das Pelican House excellence. Anmerkung: Ich weiß nicht, Deutsch. The property was exactly as presented on the website. The house was immaculate, the furnishings classy and comfortable, and the pool made for a satisfying rental experience. This is a quality rental that is centrally located in Cape Coral. In addition to the great home and nice neighborhood, I must state that the owners and property manager are super! The whole rental experience was smooth...from initial email query about the property...to the efficient responsiveness of the the property manager when a minor glitch occurred. Clearly, this property is not just one of many owned by a large corporation. Rather, a nice couple own it, and I will not hesitate to rent it again in the future. If you are looking for a quality rental for a fair price, you do no! I don't know German, but here is the translation, using Google Translator. Das Anwesen war genau wie auf der Website präsentiert. Das Haus war makellos, die Einrichtungsgegenstände nobel und komfortable, und der Pool für ein befriedigendes Verleih Erfahrung gemacht. Dies ist eine Qualität, die Miete in zentraler Lage in Cape Coral befindet. Neben dem großen Haus und nette Nachbarschaft, muss ich feststellen, dass die Eigentümer und Hausverwalter sind super! In maart 2011 hebben we twee weken vakantie gevierd in deze prachtige woning, letterlijk gevierd want het verblijf was een feestje. Het huis is in prima staat, exact zoals is weergegeven op de foto´s. Werkelijk alles is aanwezig, je hoeft alleen kleding en een strandlaken mee te nemen. En alles is superschoon. Het zwembad en het terras is fantastisch met voldoende schaduw en zon. De vaste Internetverbinding is ideaal voor het uitzoeken van uitstapjes dus neem je laptop mee. Cape Coral ligt zeer centraal voor de mooiste stranden van bijv. Sanibel of Fort Meyers, maar je vind ook een strand in de Cape zelf bij de jachthaven. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en ook de beheerder ter plaatse is zeer behulpzaam. Onze borgsom werd binnen twee dagen teruggestort. Wij gaan in elk geval volgend jaar weer!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Currency accepted only in US$Prices per week include sales and tourist tax for a booking of: 1+2 People $ 890, 3 People. $ 960, 4 People. $1030, 5 People. $1095, 6 People. $1170, 7 People. $1230 and 8 People. $1290. Children up to 2 years of age stay for free. Cot for a child under 2 years € 10. Peak season: Christmas, New Years and Easter: prices per week during Christmas, New Year and Easter include sales and tourist tax for a booking of: up to 4 People $1190, up to 6 P. $1310, and up to 8 P. $1410. The weekly prices include utilities like water and electricity, other than telephone fees, final cleaning and electricity if it is higher than 50 KW per day. For the calculation of telephone fees and possible damages, a security deposit of $ 500 is due on our account 2 weeks before arrival. The final cleaning will be paid on site and is $130.
