Three of us came for an art teacher's conference, the 4th for relaxation. The conference was being held at the King & Prince resort. We were looking for something less expensive and more comfortable and we found it with Judy's lovely home. We couldn't have been happier with this home. We especially appreciated the elevator! It made our life so much easier. The owner's attention to detail is wonderful. We were all very comfortable and were able to spread out without feeling crowded. You can feel the ocean breeze from the from the many decks and front porch. And it's a quick walk to the public beach access. My little dog Lucy loved the beach and we took frequent walks around the neighborhood. Massengale Park, just down the street, is a wonderful place to access the beach also. Our favorite restaurant was Igauana's where we had fabulous meals and service. You can't beat Palmer's Village Cafe for breakfast! And Barbara Jean's has delicious crab cakes. We finished our evening last night at Ziggy Mahoney's. Great for an "older crowd" until around 10, when the "young people's music" starts. Keegan, the owner, is a delight and made us feel most welcome. We will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you so much, Carol, for your lovely & very kind remarks. We're delighted your stay was so enjoyable! - Judy

We had a wonderful time at this spacious townhome. The amenities were fantastic and the homeowner was most helpful from the time we booked the home , during our stay, and upon our return to the daily grind. The townhouse was close to everything, which was most important when traveling with teenagers. We look forward to returning to this lovely townhome next summer.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

This home surpassed our expectations . My children and their friends loved all the space, which allowed us to live comfortably together without feeling cramped. The home was filled with lovely decorations that made us feel right at home. The proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping , and more, made this home an ideal place to stay. We look forward to coming back next year and enjoying this lovely home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We recently stayed at this wonderful home. It was all it was billed on VRBO and then some. The home is clean, well furnished and stocked. Our kids loved the elevator. It is located just one block from the beach. We caught 30 crabs right off the beach and enjoyed the resulting crab cakes. St. Simons has a lot to offer with its historical sites, nice restaurants, shops, and beaches. We highly recommend this home to you.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

Our family just stayed at this wonderful home. It was all that it is billed on HomeAway and then some! The home was very clean, well furnished, and stocked. It is very conveniently located just a block from the beach. We caught over 30 crabs and enjoyed some tasty crab cakes during our stay. St. Simons has a lot to offer with its historical sites, nice restaurants, shopping, and beaches. We would highly recommend this home to you.Did you find this review helpful? With three families traveling together, finding a place to accommodate everyone was a challenge, but this townhome had all the amenities to satisfy all of our needs. The separate baths for each bedroom were a big bonus to us so that each family could enjoy their own space. We traveled with 4 small children and had no problems with the short walk to the beach and loved the nearby restaurants within walking distance. The pier is only about a mile away and a couple of us pushed our kids in strollers the whole way several times. We made memories here that will last us a lifetime, including my youngest son crawling for his first time in the living room! I can't say enough good things about the location or the property itself. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owner is a pleasure to work with and was very professional and timely with all communication. We will be back, without a doubt!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I think St. Simon Island is the best kept secret. Our stay was wonderful. One of the best vacation places. Great weather, only one day of rain. Great location walking distance to the beach. The Townhouse was perfect. Decorated beautifully, very clean and had all the supplies needed to make our stay unforgetable. Would stay again.Owner response: Thanks for the great endorsement...we work hard to make even the weather as perfect as possible for our guests!! So happy you selected our townhome for your month-long stay.

Stayed here July 9-13, 2011 with our family of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Clean, well kept, fresh towels, all the accoutrements, building is very solid (no neighbor noise), and the personal elevator from the garage to the 3rd floor is a plus. 1/2 block away from King & Prince an its beach. Other 1/2 block has several decent seafood restaurants and shopping. Loved walking at night from the King & Prince to the townhouse--with the large, sweeping oak trees and Spanish moss, it gave the street a kind of "To Kill a Mockingbird" quality. Kids loved it...Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

My family and I rented this beautiful townhouse during the month of June 2011. The home was just that --"Home". We felt like we were at home. It was very clean, roomy and well-decorated. And, yes, it has an elevator, but we didn't use it much because we are very active people and preferred to use the stairs. :-) Also, this owner's rate is very reasonable in comparison to all that is offered in the home. All-in-all, our stay was wonderful and we do plan to rent here again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children.
Owner response: Pam - Thanks so much...I'm so happy you all had such a great stay, & also felt so comfortable & want to return to our townhome. Very Best - Judy

Our family enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing stay. This was our first trip to the island and we were pleasantly surprised at how conveniently the house was located, allowing us to cycle to the beach, village, restaurants and pier so easily. The on line photos can't begin to do justice to the incredible collection of art throughout this most comfortable house.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
