The ideal occupants of the Beach House are a couple of any age who enjoy reading and quiet recreational activites. Sleepying accomodations for children are provide by a sofa and a sleeping bench. There is also a ladder-accessed small balcony for a young teenager. There is room for a porta-cribbed infant next to the queen bed on the second floor (crib is not provided).
Rowboat, sailboat and canoe are available for use as is the gas barbecue unit. Private access to the lake and its dock is available from the BH.

We spent a lovely week in the BH and couldn't have asked for a nicer setting or landlords. Sally and Tom went out of their way to make us feel at home and assisted with even a new can opener! We hope to return.

About the owner: The owners are a retired pediatrician and watermedia artist who live alone in Woodgate for 4 months of the year, though in Savannah, GA for the rest of the year. Though there are sporadic visits by them through the summer, only one week sees all four of the children's families in attendance.
Why the Owner Chose Boonville:
The proximetry to Utica afforded access to a vastly more relaxed Adirondack lifestyle for the owners and their 4 children. Swimming, boating, sailing, sunning, reading and socializing are activities that all take part in, though travel to other parts of the State are possible. While the hustle-bustle of Old Forge is nice to sample, the lake quietness of most days is very appealing. The lake has become know as a pleasant place to kayack The owner greatly enjoys building and maintaining the property by himself.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
I enjoy working in my woodworking shop across the road, while my wife has her own art studio. I provide frames for her art and plan her exhibitions and various social functions from the Main Cmap building. The children's families and friends use the Beach House when it is not rented out. Our friends from Utica and surrounding areas are frequent visitors.
