Fabulous location! Great reasturants and shopping within walking distance. The condominium grounds were very clean,beautiful and above all peaceful. The penthouse itself has the most gorgeous view of the ocean and is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here, and look forward to going back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We just returned home after eight fantastic nights in this fabulous unit at Sterling Shores. It was our first trip to Destin and our first experience booking thru VRBO. The owner was so helpful, prompt, courteous, and easy to work with. The staff at Sterling was friendly and helpful and we had no issues getting into the unit an hour early and extending our stay by one night. This condo was fabulous. It was so extraordinarily clean and I am a clean freak. I was so impressed. The photos truly do not do it justice. I tried photos with my own camera with the same result. Beautiful, quality furnishings, luxurious bed linens, more than adequate kitchen supplies, four television, games, books, extra bedding. You name it, it was there for us to use! There was seating for SEVEN on the large balcony, including three lounge chairs for sunning, which was fantastic for quick meals and evening games. An added bonus was that it was one of the few units in the entire building that had partial shade on the balcony in the late afternoon. Beautiful ocean views from throughout the condo, including from the elegant four-poster master bed. Huge closet, ample dressers and armoires, and plenty of storage allowed us to live in the condo instead of out of our suitcases. The washer and dryer were brand new and worked terrifically, drying a load of beach towels in thirty minutes. The pools and grounds are gorgeous and immaculate. The beach is dreamy with powdery white sand and clear waters. The Back Porch Restaurant, across the street, has daily happy hour and no shoes or shirts are required. Umbrellas, chairs, and kayaks are available for rent right on the private beach. We are booking the unit for the same time next year. We are HUGE fans!!! You will not be disappointed if you book this gorgeous penthouse for your next vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The condo was is good shape, nicely decorated, and a decent view of the gulf. However, the shower heads barely omit water, so we found it difficult to wash our hair, etc. Bring a cookie sheet, if you want to bake anything in the oven. We didn't find the bed comfortable, too firm for us. Bring blankets if you might need anything extra for yourself or kids, we couldn't find any in the unit. The covered parking was great, the pool was heated, and our kids loved the grill.. Great location!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This penthouse is absolutely wonderful, and frankly, there is so much more than the pictures here actually depict. We have just spent our spring break here, and could not have imagined a better location for our vacation. The penhouse is very well taken care of, neat, clean, and luxurious. The kitchen and laundry areas are very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views, comfort, friendly staff on site, and super friendly owners made this vacation the one to certainly stand out! I would absolutely recommend this property to all my family and friends. It was very refreshing to actually get more what you bargained for this time!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

I am currently renting the PH. It is fabulous! The pictures do not do it justice!! The condo is spacious and comfortable! It's clean and well maintained. Sterling Shores is directly across from the beach which is NO hassle whatsoever! It's a quick walk.. Which I scooted thru The Backporch which made it even easier! The condo is close to everything. A short drive to shopping and restaurants. There are even restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend this condo. I am VERY particular and don't normally write reviews... coming from me this is huge!! Another huge plus, the owners are great! Quick to respond, very friendly and accommodating!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

This was my first time in Destin and wanted somewhere nice for our first visit. We went out of season so secured a good deal at this Penthouse. Stayed for only 4 nights but key points, really liked Sterling Shores, central to most things and a short stroll to the beach. The Penthouse was spacious, really clean, which my wife loved and well maintained. They also have an underground parking space with the rental which was a big bonus. Would recommend and hope to get back soonRecommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
