I am Catherine Nottingham an original "Eastern Shore" girl. My family has been on the shore for generations. I was born on Cherrystone Creek and raised between Eastville and Smith Beach.
Leaving the shore in 1983, I eventually found myself in Richmond Va. with 26 houses that I rent to VCU college students.
Old homes are my passion and have brought me back to my roots on the Eastern Shore and Cape Charles where I renovated "Nottingham Cottage" in 2006/7. I have another house in Cape Charles that is large, rustic and less expensive for extended family/ friends budget conscious travelers.
I keep my Carolina Skiff at Bay Creek marina and enjoy boating. A perfect weekend includes a trip to the sand bar off Smith Beach or an afternoon to "Sunset Beach" resort for and afternoon of music.
