This unique property has the largest white picket fence in the Keys, surrounding 1.62 acres, and gated for privacy. The main house and guest house were architecturally designed with Bahamian porches and French doors. Just 20 minutes drive from Key West, it is close enough for trips but far enough from the busyness of other tourists. There are plenty of restaurants and amenities on nearby keys as well.
* The Guest House will be renovated in mid-January and will only have one upstairs studio suite with 1 double bed, sofabed, bath and kitchen for 2 people. Both houses have WiFi, a LCD screen TV with satellite, and fully equipped kitchens.

We bought away from Key West because after working on Duval Street as artists, we were glad to escape from the tourists, stores and traffic.

Cynthia - we really enjoyed out stay -- I am not sure how much the security deposit was but you were also going to refund the amount for the second house for that last night - so please add that as well - or have you - no problem about the cleaners but let me advise you that we had already taken out all the recycling and most of the trash so there was very little - they did need to wash sheets and towels but that was all - everything was in great shape - My address is ....

The kitchen was fully equipped. The next door caretaker and the management quickly responded when we had a question. I recommend the White Ibis Inn to anyone who wants to enjoy the Florida Keys in a quiet leasurely way. Extra info: the house is about 20-25 min drive from Key West. This is not a problem because the scenery is gorgeous along the way."

We have enjoyed our stay. Is there anything we need to do for the house as we check out? wanted to let you know that there were only 5 pool towels when we checked in and they will all be on the main level of the house when we go. Also, the glass lamp cover on the fan light in the bedroom on the main level fell and broke when the light cord was pulled. It didn't look like it had a screw to hold it in. We cleaned up the glass with broom and vacuum, but you may want to tell the cleaning people to be careful. The garbage was put out thursday night and everything should be picked up pretty well. My parents will plan to be out by noon tomorrow as we arranged. Thank you very much Dan F.

Thank you so Much! We had an amazing time! The house worked perfect, had everything that we needed! We def. will stay there again when we come back to the Keys!!! The only item I know that was left was a small brown bag on the night stand in the lower room of the guest house. It had some stickers in it that were diving related. I am sure that it looked like trash and was thrown away...However, if it was not...we would love to have it. Thank you again for Everything! Norm R.

We loved everything about our stay - climate, swimming pool, solar heated tub, toys sandbox games small vehicles for the kids, large TV, protected grounds and friendly neighborhood.
